5 stars for finally stocking Kosher Salt!  0 stars for shipper (FedEX).  The person left the box in front of my garage door.  Who does this?  I have a perfectly covered entrance to the front door that any normal delivery person uses (Amazon)!.

When I cook chicken the night before I put this salt in cold water and stir good so it disolves then add the chicken to it and cover, let sit over night and next day when I am ready to cook the chicken is pretty much free of all the blood, gives a better taste, rinse the chicken again with water before cooking.

Love this stuff.  It's the best stuff out there.  Not overly concentrated so you can really add a good pinch without worrying about over-salting your foods.

Since we started using it a few years back I've stopped buying regular table salt.  This coarse kosher salt is so much more predictable when actually trying to control how much you're seasoning your dish.  A pinch of table salt can easily be way too much.  

It takes us months to go through a box (we are super low sodium) but I always have at least 2 cartons of this in the house.   I'd buy it in a large box if I could.

Great Salt for Everyday Use

I bought this to help clean my cast iron cookware as advised on YouTube.   The abrasive texture helps to clean without using soap on the cast iron or damaging the skillets.

We like the flavor. The bigger crystals give off more taste and less is needed to flavor foods. We have fine table salt as well as course sea salt and everyone reaches for this one.
