Notify others of the presence of chemicals with Monterey LG1130 Mark It Blue. Mix it with an herbicide such as Roundup or Remuda to give it a visible color, then spray as usual with a pump or other equipment. It calls for 1 oz per gallon. So if you have a 16 gallon tank and want to fill it up, you would need 2 full bottles.

I have a 15 gallon and one bottle was enough to color the spray.

How many ounces of Monterey LG1130 Mark It Blue product do you need to use per gallon? I have a 16 gallon spray tank.

Just what I needed

This is an awesome product. Very concentrated,you will use very little.

Blue stuff

You do not need to use as much as it says.  You can use less than half as much as recommended and easily see your progress.

Stains clothes and skin for a day or two.

Blue marker looks green when mixed with killer.

Monterey works very good. I used 2ozs for three gal of spray. Needs a cap to pour it out

Work better than expected.

It did color my weeds which was very useful. The cap was hard to get off and on. It seems too big for the small container. If you get it jammed it is very hard to straighten out. The entire bottle twists before the cap does.

I have not used this most recent purchase yet, but have used it in the past for marking areas of my lawn sprayed for weeds, great product. e

Weed spray colorant

This product is really designed for spraying herbicide on dormant warm season grass during the off season. And it does in fact stand out and mark where you sprayed it provided you are spraying it on dead/dormant grass or some other contrasting light colored vegetation or light soil.  If you go spraying it on actively growing grass or cool season grasses like tall fescue, the blue will be hard to see since it does not contrast well with green. If you look carefully, you will see it, but it's difficult. 

The main complaint that I have with this product is even after 24 hours during the summer, it didn't dry and stayed wet and oily to the touch. Almost like it was a surfactant.  When dogs walked through it a day later their legs got blue dye on them. It washed off eventually but my greater concern was that it wouldn't allow the herbicide to dry and become rainfast.  I ended up washing it all off a day later but it still worked so perhaps the worry was for nothing and maybe it actually helped with absorption.

If I could do it over, I'm not sure if I would use it although it did enable me to save chemical.

So here's the deal...

Just did not work!  This was to do one thing-show where, in the yard, you sprayed.  Could not differentiate between just sprayed and where I had not sprayed.
