No, this mattress protector is not bedbug proof.

it doesnt envelope the entire mattress so i would say no. bed bugs tend to reside outside of the mattress during the day, somewhere in the walls or darkened area, i think.

No it does not have a zipper, and as the description suggests, it&#39;s &quot;Fitted&quot; just like your fitted sheets, so it has elastic on the corners.

No it doesn&#39;t. The edges are real deep. So it fits real tight and it don&#39;t slide.

Good product, but needs to be replaced infrequently because tossing and turning on the bed will eventually rip it. Makes very little noise when moving around on the bed.

effective protection against "accidents"

My son is four years old and fully toilet trained. He just recently made the switch from a toddler bed to a twin bed. I decided we needed a way to protect his matress in case of any spills or accidents that may occur. This mattress protector is exactly what we were looking for at a reasonable price point. It's waterproof, sealed, and impenetrable! Great buy!

Impervious Matress Protector

Much improved and heavier than a previous purchase of this item, fits well. The previous ones I had were basically just vinyl sheets, these are now textured, feeling like a vinalized cloth, and made from a thicker material that appears it will be less prone to tears. They fit my queen mattress easily and snugly. Highly reccomend

Great Price, Greatly Improved

Works perfectly. I bought a new mattress for my son. Used this one and then a cloth type for bed bug protection. My son is only 3 so he still has accidents. His mattress is protected and still like new. Will probably buy more just to protect other beds from accidental spills.

Must have for mattress

This mattress cover really works to protect the mattress. It fits to size and you can't feel it under the regular sheets. The one thing that I don't like about it is that it isn't easy to clean. It absorbs color from the sheets and stains from mess. It also holds odor. But the effectiveness and the low cost surpasses all of that because you can just replace it!!

Very useful product

For bedwetters, this does its job.. bought the twin cover, it covers the entire mattress allllll the way down without forcing it, so it doesn't move or shift.. love it will buy one for my queen bed as well

Does it's job !

This I bought for the new memory foarm mattress I bought for my grandsons, I guess they are good to stop fluids like water or milk from going onto the matress, but they do not fit snug, so it makes the bed look messy even when it's made up.

Sagging

Growing up my parents never bought mattress protectors for any of our beds, and throughout every move we always threw them out and bought new ones. They were always soiled, looked gross, and were practically set for the landfill for mattresses that only lasted 2-5 years. Along with pets, being a woman, and other spills, I knew that when I bought my first mattress I was going to take care of it, so I sought out a protector. 

Well I found this one all of a sudden in my local Walmart and lucky for me the full size (what i needed) was marked down to $1. When I took it out of the packaging it reeked of a plastic pool. I mean this cannot be good for the lungs, and it's something you'll be sleeping on. I put it on my mattress which is 12” thick and it fit fine. But it's basically like putting a tarp on your bed. 

I do have to say, it does unfortunately cancel out any of the “cooling” properties my mattress comes with and makes the bed feeling extremely warm. It's plastic, so even with your normal fitted sheet on top, you're going to sweat as it removes breathability between your body and your mattress. 

I noticed the difference right away during the night because for years I have slept with the air at 70° and my fan on but I found myself waking up because the mattress was warm and my sheets were a little humid. 

All in all, I think I will be splurging a little more for a better quality, better material protector. One that is cloth or fabric. The plastic just doesn't do it for me. I don't have incontinence or leakage problems so maybe this is too much of a protector for me. I can see how this may be useful for someone who REALLY wets the bed and for that I will give it 2 stars for function. Your bases would be covered in the mattress department, it will just sit there and not seep through at all.

Plastic pool smell of chemicals, made bed warm

It isn't exactly fitted, I bought a twin size and put it on my daughters bed, it does not fit snuggly like a fitted sheet would. It was almost like it was stretched out. If I had known it wouldn't fit properly I wouldn't have bought it and for the price it's too much of a hassle to even worry about returning. 

If you are looking for an actual fitted protected sheet this is not it.

Could be better.

I should have know better that for the price this would not hold up very well. I have had this less than two weeks and it already has holes in it. You get what you pay for. It's too thin to hold up to bed bounding by kids and animals.
