Its is plastic, and a little see thru.  i would open it up and let it sit outside a day as it does have a strong plastic scent.

This is delightfully pretty.   The price is excellent and it makes me happy to look at.   I did not notice a plastic smell like some others have mentioned.   The plastic is thick and will last a long time.  I do have a liner in addition to this as I wanted this to remain outside the tub for full effect.

I love this new beach shower curtain. It is a replacement for a shower curtain I also bought at Walmart. However, I put the old one in the washing machine and it damaged it.  This one cannot be put in the washing machine, you must clean with a damp cloth. I bought this one as the scene reminded me of Tahiti, where I once visited on vacation. The shower curtain is sturdy and not flimsy. I have a liner with mine but you probably don't need one as it is not see through. I love the colors and my new towels go well with the colors on the shower curtain.

Oh my gosh, I love this! I also got a clear liner so the pretty one can stay outside the tub. I love that it's easy to see from in the shower, too. It's very peaceful looking.

I was skeptical when I first unpacked it, but once it was hung in my bathroom I loved it. It has definitely brightened up my bathroom. The directions say no liner needed, but I use a line because it tends to blow into the shower when the water is running.

Well I love the beilook of it but however the paint start to peel off. I have only had this shower for one week and I can already see wear in it. My husband really wanted this I wanted the clear heavy duty one

Purchased this at the end of April, so 3 months now.  after about a week the print started coming off at the seams.  any 0area that came creased is still creased.  it has not flattened out well.  Every single place a crease is there are numerous areas of clear curtain where the print is now gone. I can not rub it off but somehow it sticks to itself and comes off... idk how.  The one good this has been it's very slow to even try to mold. I usually replace my curtain annually. This one will never make it a year without looking like trash.
