The weight limits for the Mainstays Metro Desk are as follows: Desk top - 60 lbs. Left and right storage drawer - 15 lbs. each.

per the instructions....max weight says 60lbs.

I would say about 15-20 pounds it is not crazy heavy but it is very sturdy in my opinion.

Yes, the rear is finished. It does not have to be against a wall.

altho VERY sturdy - this shouldnt be bought solely with &#39;weight&#39; being key issue.  Storage is one thing but this isn&#39;t and industrial strength Executive Desk.

The box arrived in good condition.  It took about 40 minutes to put the desk together.  

It's a great writing/laptop desk. In fact, we have 2!  The 2 drawers are good for storing paper, pens and pencils. 

The desk is sturdy enough, but I wouldn't recommend jumping on top of it. 

All in all a good desk, worth the $$.

Nice Little Desk

It is what I need for my home office. Have good space to have my computer and documents while working. The two draws are perfect for keep it clean after working. Fits my laptop and notebooks and still has space. I do recommend. Im happy with my purchase

Exactly what I need

Call a table a "vanity" and for some reason it costs twice as much! So I started looking for desks instead. This works perfectly. It's not as deep as a traditional desk so it feels more dainty. It was more complex to put together than some things I've done, but with some patience it turned out perfect. TIP: There are two DIFFERENT sizes of cam bolts. I used all the smaller ones in the earlier steps, and then the ones I had left for the drawers were too big. Had to go back and re-do a couple of steps. Live and learn.

Love it - using as my vanity table

Great desk, the price is right! I bought this to use as a table for my sewing machine. It's sturdy and looks very good. I'm happy with this purchase.
