Well packaged and the instructions for the zero (tare) and minus function are easy to follow. A reusable K-Cup (for coffee brewer) and 3x5 notecard in picture for size reference.

Two AA Batteries Included - Easy to Use

The mainstay's digital scale is a big hand in the kitchen. When Baking cakes and making candy it helps with measuring the ingredients like flour and sugar. The scale is light weight . The scale is also small which is perfect for storing. The scale is easy to use you can place multiple items on the scale you can remove one if you need to and subtract the weight of that item.

Very nice little scale. Compact and easy to store. 

The scale is wide enough to set a bowl on without losing the ability to read the display. 

No rough edges or spots that seem to stick and interfere with proper weight. 

For me the only downside is that it only measures in ounces or grams.

Nice

This Mainstays Digital Scale is a welcome addition. It's sleek design and light weight make it easy and fun to use. It's small and can fit in a drawer or in the cupboard. I have used the scale to weigh bulk hamburger to break it down into 1 lb. packages. Also, to weigh ingredients for a recipe.
This scale can also be used to weigh small packages for shipping or even for rolling coins.
Batteries are included so the scale is ready to use out of the box.

Fun & functional

This is a really good kitchen scale. I'm very pleased with it. It's very sensitive, even down to .005 oz. Probably more precise than is ever needed for most practical kitchen uses, however, perhaps needed in scientific or other projects. For example, I measured 2 small pieces of onion and it only measured .065 oz (see pic). 

It's also super simple to "zero" the scale if you're using a bowl or other container in your measurement--just press the TARE button, and the scale will zero. This worked great for me measuring freshly ground game meet before packaging. 

If this scale has a downside, its that you can only measure in ounces/pounds and grams--does not show mL. But probably not a problem for most applications. 

Bottom line, this is a great scale! Not just for tracking food intake or to precisely follow recipes, but is sensitive enough for science projects and other small-scale weighing needs.

Great kitchen scale!

This is a great kitchen scale. I like the simple design. It's small enough to store easily but has a large enough plate to weigh whatever you need it to. It's easy to use, with only two buttons and a clear display. It weighs in very small increments, as well.

I was a bit confused by the small text on the bottom of the scale. After reading the instructions a bit more, it is just indicating that the precision does go down a bit with more weight added (instead of measuring .1g it switches to .5 and then by 1g increments).

Easy to use, precise, sleek design

This digital scale which is battery operated is a great tool to have in the kitchen when you need to portion size and weigh food for diets that are based on weight.  Trying to guess how much 4 ounces of cheese is allowed is sketchy at best so this scale is so valuable to get accurate weights. This supports diet guidelines I need to follow and helps me stay on track with my dieting goals. It has a small profile so it's easy to store and doesn't take up much counter space, also a breeze to wipe down if needed. I use my scale daily and find it to be an easy way to stay on track for food portions and sizes.

Easy to use

This is a slim kitchen scale that won't take up much storage space. Simple design but functional. Turn in on, take, weight your products. It can handle up to 6.6 lbs which is more than enough for your standard kitchen needs.

Slim

I had hoped to replace my older digital scale with this one but it's just too tiny and feels cheaply made.  It does seem accurate and has a sleek design but I feel it's so small it's not stable enough to balance anything on it.  Much too small to put a plate on it or anything but a tiny bowl.  I like the sleek style and black color.  I just wish it was larger.

This scale just doesn't work. See the picture. Shows one liter (1000mL) weighing 634.0 grams. It should read somewhere around 1000 grams. I just threw it in the garbage.
