Perhaps 1/2 hour to 45 minutes. It's pretty basic and straightforward. Took my nephew about 45 minutes. And, the set has lasted 2 years. Only problem I have is one of the cushions has finally ripped a bit. But, it's the seat cushion, and that's replaceable!

It takes a bit of time; it is not a slap together process, but well worth the effort.

Took my husband and I a little over an hour. One of our chair legs was slightly bent, so it took some extra strength to get it to line up.
