These will eventually start to rust and will have to be replaced. That's why I purchased a new pack.

I had been using hooks that were shaped like a S and that I just placed on top of the rod. I had chosen those because I had thought it would be eaiser to put the curtain on the hooks and then place it on the shower rod. It was. It was easier to set up than these hooks. However, the negative was they didn't slide well and even sometimes would fall off the rod. These roll very nice and rarely get caught on the area where the 2 rods meet.

Smooth glide

These V-Glide Shower Hooks have a very attractive look and are really study. They glide across the shower rod with ease and are a breeze to attach.

Highly recommended for purchase!!

Easy Glide

These v-glide roller bead shower curtain hooks by Mainstays are just the ticket for what I need but more importantly, they are what I like. I have been using something similar but too often they'd cross over each other and get tangled. These hooks don't have that problem because of the roller beads. Hallelujah! No more tugging and fighting with the shower curtain. I won't tell you they look stunningly beautiful but they simple beauty and practical and functional, as well. You can't beat the price either! You get 12 hooks in the package, and they are so easy to install and remove. I expect the rust resistant metal to stay looking nice for a long time. You really can't go wrong with these. I've used hooks such as these to hang a bird feeder, wind chimes or similar things, from a tree outside or even use them inside to hang something from a location you might find in your own home. Versatility is the key to these hooks so pick up a package next time you're shopping at Walmart. You might find they're something you really need and like as well. Simple beauty

The Mainstays V-Glide Roller Bead Shower Curtain Hooks / Rings is very stylish. It glides across the bathroom rod with ease. It goes across easily when you need to open the shower curtain. It has bead rollers that spin to help it maneuver. It comes with twelve hooks and it's really easy to use. I like the chrome silver color on it because it matches my bathroom rod. I have used the same shower curtain hooks / rings for the last 10 years. Mine are really nice, but I think it is time for a little change. The Mainstays V-Glide Roller Bead Shower Curtain Hooks / Rings is very stylish. Looks like it matches my bathroom decor well. After I set it up in the bathroom, first thing I noticed is that it glides on my shower curtain rod very smoothly. I did not feel much friction, could possibly be the design of the beads that allows the smooth gliding on the shower curtain rod. The design of the Mainstays V-Glide Roller Bead Shower Curtain Hooks / Rings definitely allows easy installation. One of the biggest things I find very important is the material used for my shower curtain hooks / rings, I look for ones that will not rust and these are perfect. The Mainstays V-Glide Roller Bead Shower Curtain Hooks / Rings are made of rust resistant metal. You are using it in the bathroom where there is a high chance that water will come in contact with the shower curtain hooks / rings, I do not want to have to worry about them rusting. Rusting can damage my shower curtains and my shower curtain rod. Therefore, these are absolutely perfect.

Stylish Design

Attractive and inexpensive shower curtain hooks...Unfortunately I have arthritis and found it very difficult to open and close these hooks when attempting to use them, but, otherwise I'm pleased with them.

Mainstays V-Glide Roller Bead Shower Curtain Hook

I bought these with the understanding they were 100% metal. The clips are metal with plastic roller balls. I should return but cost more to return than to just order a different shower ring.

Ordered twice hoping to get what was pictured.  I first order was store pick up and was given hook that was chrome with clear plastic balls. Placed another order for shipping and again was given chrome holder with clear plastic balls.
