These bowls come in blue, gray, and red and are 6.1/5" across and 3.1/4" deep. I received the red bowl and I like the color and the weight of the bowl. It will hold 4 cups of liquid with a little room to spare and will make a great cereal bowl for those late night munchies. These bowls cost just under $3.00.

Great cereal bowl.

I'm a fan of Mainstays products anyway and this stoneware from the Chiara Collection is a great addition. The bowl is a great size for bagged popcorn (6-1/4"). I tend to eat a reasonable amount if I put it in this bowl instead of just eating out of the package. I also use my bowl for the green and red grapes that I eat several times a week. I have a 2 prong "fork" to grab the grapes with. These ceramic bowls are also great for cereal, which my son and grandson consider a meal anytime of the day. I also make meals for the week and then refrigerate and reheat them. I have used my stoneware bowl to reheat my Shepherd's Pie, but I have to leave it in the microwave for a couple of minutes because the bowl gets pretty hot. I think I will get three more bowls, hopefully in assorted colors to use when the family comes over for crackers, chips, olives, etc. to snack on.

I also use bowls in my desk drawers to hold makeup, hairclips, hair ties as well as office supplies (thumb drives, paper clips, stamps) and sewing supplies. I am overly aware of dropping it, so I hold it protectively to avoid breaking. The bowl also goes in the dishwasher which is convenient for me. Well worth it for it's many uses.

Great Size, Design,Color

I just love this Chiara Grey Bowl, I received a set of five pieces and I really like that this bowl is deeper and bigger than an average bowl. Or at least it seems like it too me. I'm used to using a more shallow bowl. I like that I can use it for soup, cereal and of course ice cream. The grey color fits me perfectly, I like to add a little darker colors to my collections sometimes. The darker grey is perfect for that. This bowl is made fairly heavy and is dishwasher and microwave safe. The stoneware glass gets quite hot however. This Chiara Grey Bowl comes from the MainStays collection and is reasonably priced so it making it a great addition even on a budget. I would recommend this product because I have several pieces of MainStays products and feel they live up to my expectations.

I received this single place setting to try in exchange for my honest review. The set included a 10 inch dinner plate, an 8 inch salad plate, an 8 inch dinner bowl, a 6 inch bowl, and a mug. Very attractive set in a dark gray color. They are very heavy, almost like stoneware. Honestly I am in love with the dinner bowl, it’s big enough for soup or pasta, my husband loves it cause it holds two bowls of cereal. I haven’t put them in the dishwasher, there were no instructions in the box stating that they were microwave or dishwasher safe. Sadly I would love to purchase 5 more place servings as these match my dining room perfectly, but I have been unable to find them on Wal-Mart’s site, in the store, or anywhere else online for that matter. So now I have to figure out what to do with this single place setting.

Very heavy, sturdy yet beautiful

This is a very nice bowl it would be great for soup it is part of a full set that you can purchase. I like the quality of the porcelain very well-made and it has a fluted design on the sides.I like the bottom because it has a nonskid bottom. Now that I see how nice this is I will probably buy more pieces to complete a set and it does have other colors available.

I found plates that didn't come with matching bowls. The blue in these matched perfectly! There were only 3 at my local store. Found one more online! The bowl is deep and gorgeous color!

Like the bowls but 3 of the 4 arrived broken. Fed Ex is usually very careful. Now what do I do?  No fed ex depot around here, no way can they be safely packaged for PO, now what?

When you order online and they ship things if something is broken or missing they will flag your account to get out of refunding you. I live a town away from Walmart and don't have a vehicle so I cant go to the store. Whoever ships these is always breaking something. Walmart will hold you responsible for their poor workers and you will be screwed out of money. This has gone on for months now. Walmart company is a bunch of crooked thieves. You should take your online business elsewhere because they will steal from you.
