60 watt incandescent bulb is the highest wattage to be used with this lamp, or the CFL/LED equivalent.

Remove, unscrew the socket ring first - that is a 2" diameter black ring with ridges around the perimeter. Remove it and set aside. Then place shade on the lamp and then re screw in the socket ring to secure the shade to the lamp.

how do you assemble the shade?  the metal ring dont seem to fit into the shade

This was super simple to put together and I added some flower lights to it and it turned out so pretty looking. Love the lamp!

Im not sure what some of the other reviewers expect for $25, but I am thrilled with such a great buy! I wanted a tripod lamp but did not want to pay $100  for one. This is the exact style I was looking for and I love the pattern on the shade. My lamp was packaged well and not wrinkled as others have said. I have a kid, rambunctious dog and even a robot vacuum and this lamp stays sturdy and in place. If you are looking for a nice inexpensive floor lamp, this is the one you should buy.

Looks expensive, great mid century modern design, and it was very easy to put together.  It really complimented our room. I put an LED soft bulb and it's perfect for reading.

These lamps are very inexpensive and the quality is perfect! Easy assembly, and sleek modern appearance. I use them for staging homes and put one on almost every project! I even have them in my own home- buy it, the value can't be beat at this price point!

Excellent value

The initial look of this lamp fits in my space perfectly. Yeah, it may be thin and wobbly if touched, but as long as my kids keep their distance it will live through a few years. I like it A LOT FOR THE PRICE

Excellent look for $25

I liked them, they look good! They are simple but their aesthetic is clean, and I love that.

I needed a new lamp and spent like hours looking on the various retailer sites. I liked this style of lamp but didn't want to spend $50 for 3 legs and a lampshade. In comes this beauty. Easy to assemble, fits in the space and with decor, no need to break the bank. Walmart good job!

Im missing one part (H) of the lamp, so it's not possible to securely attach the lamp shade onto the tripod. Other than that, it's a decent-looking product. Shame that such an important part was missing.
