The 2 small ones are 5 liters and the larger one is 30 liters. This equates to approximately  1 gallon and 8 gallons.

They put it in liters to trick people. The "large" can is almost 8 gallons.

What size are the trash cans? I can't find it anywhere.

The Mainstays 3pc SS Waste Cans include a removable inner liner referred to as the drop pan.

What is the "removable drop pan".  I thought it had a removable inner pan.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This trio has the perfect sizes. We used the smaller 1.3 gallon waste cans for the two bathrooms. I actually put the 8 gallon can in our kitchen. The stainless steel makes it look nice in kitchen. We have stainless steel appliances, so the trash can goes perfect.

I bought this as a gift to for my son and future daughter in law for the holidays. I got this for the Black Friday price, which was a phenomenal value compared to single stainless steel cans like these. Though the smaller cans are not very big, the set is perfect for a couple's starter home kitchen, bedroom and bath. I had the items shipped to us, and inspected them on arrival. The shipping was fast, the items were in perfect condition, and they look very well made. My husband and I especially like the feature of the ring that can hold the bag in place.

Step 3 piece waste can set, stainless steel

Was much smaller than expected so thats disappointing. There were no specs on the add so no where did it even say size . but they are sturdy and well made and seem like they will last a while for sure

Great but small

Watch the gallon/liter size when buying these online. It is not a standard 13 gal it's more like 7.8 gallon. The two small ones are almost jokingly small. They are still fine. I will keep them since I got a great Black Friday deal on them.

Smaller then I expected

Not sure how long it will hold up but works as expected. I got then to keep our dog out of the garbage without having to hide it. Working so far.

Not heavily made but does the job

The 3 piece are quite a bit smaller than my old unit. This just means I will take out the garbage more often. There is no liner inside the unit so if you get a hole in your garbage bag it will leak all over the inside and on your floor. The good thing is the mechanism to open the lid is a metal rod, so, it should not break as easily as the cheap plastic mechanism on my old unit.

Smaller than expected

The largest waste can was a fairly good size. However, the two small ones are too small to be useful for any real garbage issue. So I pretty much paid the $18.97 for one usable waste can. Nice product, but not cost worthy.

Wasteful sizing

They cam to me smashed, with no shape. Basically I lost my money and my time . Only one  of the small cans was in good condition.

Although they look decent the can is very unstable & poor quality. When you try to use the step to open it the can tips over & pops apart...I will be returning this item!

Very disappointed

Disappointed with walmart, damaged item and such poor quality. Even frustrated to go pickup and then go back to store return. Pathetic quality check
