Is about 2 1/2 inches but poor quality foam.

The mattress looks to be about 5 inches thick. There is a tag attached to one side of the mattress indicating that it is the Memory Foam side.

I use twin sheets on this bed but they are a little to big for the bed.

Yes, although the fitted sheet is a little big for the bed. I bought the sheets when I ordered the beds.

We have twin sheets on ours...but even with a foam pad extra on top...the twin sheets are a tad bit big...but i tucked them under....and so far the fitted one has not come off during use. A suggestion would be to use those sheet clips that are made for bigger beds to keep the corners on, those might help.

does the luxor folding bed use twin sheets?

I believe the instructions that came with the bed said it would hold 265 lbs. I weigh 245 and had no problem sleeping on the bed.

I think that the maximum weight might be specified in the specs for this bed. However I weigh about 170 and had no problems.

it says it will hold up to 250 pounds but better suited for less weight
