It has two holes in the back that line up with screws that you put in the wall and slide over.

it needs to be mounted on a flat smooth surface preferably but if you can manage ot place it on a surface that can balance the two screws you may be able to mount it.

Each light comes with two small screws. You can measure the distance between the two holes in the back of the ballasts of the lights. Then put the screws into your wood. Then put the holes in the back of the light ballasts over the screws and slide them to the right or left, depending on which way you have your cord going out. Hope this helps. Good luck!

Yes, this is where I'm using them. I secured the lights to the top of the structure where no water should hit them even though they are in a moist area.

yes, it doesn't produce alot of heat. I have mine inside my plastic covered greenhouse with the zippers fully closed and it's fine.

It would be difficult to understand why not just as long as they do not come into contact with much moisture.

Lights of america grow light

I purchased this product to begin growing some indoor plants before it got warm. It does what it says and worked fine. It was also bigger than I expected which was a plus.

Using these two, two foot fixtures to encourage plants in my greenhouse during the darker hours.
I have many flowering plants and veggies growing in potted environments. Some of these are in for the colder months while others are being prepared for transplanting this spring.

Very Pleased

After reading the reviews for these grow lights I decided to purchase 2 of them to see if they would help a Meyer Lemon potted citrus plant. It had lost almost all of its leaves and even after being outdoors in sunshine all summer I thought about throwing it away as I could not imagine how it could grow indoors with a lack of full sunny days.It really did not grow all summer and part of it was brown. My husband made a small trellis with $3.00 worth on wood and mounted the lights on it. Within a day of having the grow lights on for 14 hours, tiny shoots began to appear on its branches. Within a week it had tiny leaves opening on dozens of shoots. It is truly amazing as I thought the plant was not going to survive. I highly recommend these grow lights and thank Walmart for carrying them!

Unbelievably great grow lights!!

All you have to do is plug the light in and it works. I priced them at Lowe's, the cheapest light was over $30 and I would have had to wire it. These are great, I bought two at Walmart for $10.97 each, came home and attached them to some spare wood that I had around the house, made a little makeshift stand with one light on each side, put them over my plants, and within an hour I had sprouts. Now, I had planted my seeds (tomato, peppers, herbs) three days prior and started to worry they wouldnt grow, this is the first time I have tried growing anything, so I started to Google and decided that I'd get the lights. Since having the lights on them for about seven hours, total, they all have sprouted and some are even about an inch tall. Really good deal on the price of these and the lights work great!

Awesome lights!

I needed an inexpensive grow light as I am new at starting veggies from seeds. This light was the most affordable that I found online. When I got it home, I was more than pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to set up and use. The Housing is a little delicate, but I expected as much for the price. I was pleasantly surprised again when I discovered that it fit (hung from the supports) of my little greenhouse and the size was perfect! The light itself is excellent as well as all of my seedlings are doing great. I am very happy with these and have since purchased 8 more.

Just what I was looking for!

Purchased two of these to provide light for my pineapple bush. It was accustomed to living in direct sunlight in the New Mexico desert. Brought it inside for the winter but wanted to keep it growing. Put these lights on a timer, and positioned them on either side of the bush, actually inside the leaf spread. It gets a little light from a western facing window from noon to 4 so I set the lights to run 7:30 to noon, then 4 to 7:30. The plant is growing like crazy! Low electrical draw, no heat, just perfect. They are made of a cheap plastic which is why I gave it the appearance rating I did. But they don't have to look good as long as they work!

I needed a Fluorescent light for under my kitchen cabinets. I bought this light and love it-I keep some of my house plants under it too. Such a great light. I put up two screws and mounted the light so it stays put. It has a plastic lens cover over the Fluorescent bulb. Great!

For a grow light, it was simple to hang up and the seeds that I were starting seem to react to the light. I'm sure it helped. It gave me more locations to start seeds and not worry about natural light for the locations.

I'm trying to use the light to grow tomatoes from seed. It's too small and weak for the job. Maybe if I'd purchased two of them it would have worked. The 1 month old plants are still only 2" tall and turning yellow, even though the light is only about 1" away from them.
