These are amazing bake ware pieces! At 65 years old, I have been using corningware and pyrex for baking for 50 years, I always had Libbey for drinking glasses. This past fall, I noticed the new corningware was very different from old. Way cheaper now. So I saw this set and ordered it not expecting much. Boy was I wrong! These are amazing! Thick, strong, deep and the covers fit perfectly! I use the small and medium daily! From cooking vegetables in the microwave to baking cakes in oven, casserole in the big one and I have even roasted bone in chicken breasts in big one! IN the oven, the tight fitting covers maintain the foods moisture perfectly and in the microwave, I LOVE that the handles and the cover knob DO NOT GET HOT so it is easy to grab and serve while still steaming hot! Get this set you won't be disappointed!

Glass backing dishes great set!!!

The casserole dishes I have baked in these cooked perfectly.  The three sizes are the ones I use most.  The lids are convenient for cooking and for storage in the fridge.

These were a great value and purchase.  Love the sizes and use them constantly . Heavy glass that only Libby makes. Excellent packaging

Amazed

I got this set to replace my 20 year old round Pyrex set. I didn't really need the small size bowl, bit I did want glass with covers. And I wanted the nob at the top for easy removal when the contents were hot. YIKES!  Unlike my old set, both the bottom bowl section and the top including the nob get super hot when used in the microwave for cooking.  And even the handles get super hot. While they do heat the food quickly and efficiently, that is mostly due to my new microwave.  My recommendation is to buy a better brand that has a cover that doesn't get hot on the handles and the cover nob.  Or always make sure you have pot holders handy.
