Yes, totallly. It is so cute. Its even good for I would say up to age 5.

I would say this is perfect for a three year old little girl, especially if she likes imaginative play. It is also a teaching toy so if she is still unsure about her shapes and colours this will really help her out.

I will say yes! Her 3 year old cousin sit with her and play with it, she end up asking for one. Lol plus when we go out of town she puts some toys inside and brings it with her.

I know a 3-year old who still happily plays with hers, so yes - definitely.

I says above in Item Description it needs "3 x AA Batteries (included)"

It takes AA batteries and I threw in a pack with the toy for good measure; however, my co-worker whom recommended it to me claims that her child is now 3 and had hers for a couple of years and the batteries have never needed replacing.

Picnic basket

My 9 month old daughter loves this! She loves looking at the lights and hearing the sounds and music. Her older sisters will sit down and show her how to set the food pieces on the plates and where they go on the top of the basket. She is a little young to try and do it on her own but she doesn't mind sharing with her sisters, unless she is trying to eat the food pieces that is.

The product has been provided by VTech/LeapFrog free of charge so I could experience it with my family; however, the thoughts and opinions are all my own.

Lots of sharing

Our granddaughters love playing tea time with this set.  The girls are 20 months and 3 yrs old and spent at least an hour sharing pretend tea!  Great product!!

The kids love it!

My granddaughter loves her picnic basket and the music and sounds it makes. She is 6 mos old and doesn't understand the shapes and colors yet, but she loves to clap and sing with the basket.

Great learning toy

I gave this to a 22-month old granddaughter, who immediately enjoyed removing the contents and putting them back in.  I soon noticed older siblings and cousins playing with it too--setting up for a picnic, doing the puzzle feature, etc.  Since it got the kids' attention on Christmas Day with so many other new toys around, it must be a fun toy!

We Love Picnicâs

My 15month old loves this toy, it sings to her and has lots of different pieces for her to put and take from her basket. It was an instant hit for her before we even left the store!

My 5 year old twin grandchildren love it, too. No one could wait to start playing with it. The toy food is fun for make believe and the talking basket makes it fun and informative.

Great toy for learning and fun for a 2 year old

It was happily received by my 15 month grand daughter.  Her mother demonstrated it and little Elowyn asked, "More play with toy?" It started off by asking her if she could find a round orange, so it is really engaging.  Very pleased.

Great Learning/Teaching Toy!

This was great when you're interacting with your child. When left to their own accord, it really only allowed her to take things in and out of the basket. My child lost interest very quickly and hasn't picked it up since...Not my favorite leap frog product...
