Three-year-old grandson loves it

It's always difficult to buy gifts for my 3 and 6-year-old grandsons because they live a long distance away and I'm never sure what they have or might like. My son's recommendation for the little one was this kit because he LOVES the movie. ("He's three," says I. "The kit says 7-11." "Trust me," says my offspring, "they play with Lego ALL the time. It has an Emmet figure. And a car." The pieces are very small. Happily, so are their fingers. The two boys sat at their table for hours putting it together. The double-decker couch was of least interest to them - the dad put it together because it's fairly fiddly, but it's largely ignored. The other pieces like the car and the various characters are great! They're really enjoying it. Now ... how do I get the song "Everything is Awesome" out of my head?

site to store

The product itself is great, but I ordered this item site to store as a gift for a birthday present for the box was not only crushed, but there was a huge label sticker on the box. I can't peel off the label because it will destroy the box. This item is not being sold anymore, so I cannot just return it and get another one. I wish more care would have been taken with this item.

The box the legos were in was completely bent and mangled. This was to be a Christmas gift and it's in bad shape.
