I would certainly try. It is very thick right out of the can.

It's not chocolate., just a delicious soft caramel.

This caramel stays soft although quite thick. It hardens somewhat in the fridge. Super intense caramel flavor.

can you use to make choclate,caramel and nut turtles

I have never been able to locate this product in the store. If it was there, it should be in the isle with the evaporated milk/sweetened condensed milk. \Customer Service was not familiar with the item.

Where in Walmart would I find this product?

There is no information on making caramel apples with this dipping sauce.

This is not candy coating. It&#39;s sweetened condensed milk that has been cooked down until it reaches a brown-caramely stage. This has wonderful caramel flavor, but it&#39;s not &#39;caramel candy&#39;. It won&#39;t work to coat an apple, but if you want to use it as a caramel dip for freshly sliced apples or to drizzle over a piece of apple pie, it would totally work for that purpose.

great cajeta for empanadas! just add an egg yolk and mix it with the cajeta so the cajeta will not spill out.  super delicious highly recommended product! also great for cake filling,  for chocoflan, flan,  brownies, mostachones,  it's thick so it will not drip or loose the shape you make it.

I search all my local stores after seeing this product on one of my favorite cooking shows without luck, but was able to order on line. It is thick, rich, & very delicious. I've used it on ice cream, made chocolate caramel brownies, etc. will definitely order more.

Dulce De Leche is the absolute best caramel I've ever tasted. It's thick in the can but when placed in the microwave for 10 seconds it softens. You'll love just eating it thick from the can. Wow!!! Trust me, if you love caramel, Dulce De Leche is La Dolce Vita!!!

Where have these been all my life.

I found this dulce de leche on my last trip to Walmart and got several cans. This is an excellent product, the quality is unsurpassed and so is the price. For the history buffs: This spread was invented in Spain centuries ago and they made it by hand stirring sugar, milk, vanilla, etc. and they had to cook it for hours, stirring non stop. Now we have a great product ready to eat. I use it on toast, or as a cake or pastry fillings, you can add fresh fruit. You won't be disappointed.

Can we're sent in a box with absolutely no packing material at all.  All but one were severely dented and will probably be thrown away as they are bulging at top
