I have used this before and love it. I always like to use 2 different mascaras at a time for a little more volume and length. It works for me better that way and I always get complements on my eyes even though they are a light brown.

Love power volume mascara. It's the only one that didn't make my eyes itch, but can't find it anymore! Help! What happened to it?  Bring it back

I am still a big fan of the Colossal Mascara in the yellow tube, but after trying out this one, I may be converted. I always choose waterproof since I seem to end up with dark circles under my eyes if I don't and this mascara delivers on staying power. I also love the brush since I have fine eyelashes and the plastic brushes usually just end up clumping it on.

New Favorite Mascara

I can't tell you how much I love this product! It makes my lashes look amazing, they actually have grown thinker and longer since I have started using it! Unfortunately, I can't find it in any of the stores within 20 miles of my house anymore!! I have been using Voluminous WP Extra - Volume Collagen formula for a few months and it just isn't the same at all. Compared to 24 Hour, Voluminous flakes and my lashes no longer look as full as they used to. With 24 I actually used to have people ask me where and what kind of false lashes I was wearing! 24 doesn't flake or look clumpy at all! My lashes look smooth and amazing! I really with I could kind 24 in the stores again!

As an expert in trying every mascara spending hundreds & hundreds of dollars to do so, including pricier brands and drugstore brands, Power Volume 24hr in Black Smoke is a home run winner. I have very long lashes to begin with that just need the volume. I was lost after Max Factor stopped being sold in the US. I have tried every option in every brand including every L'Oreal option provided. Dior Show is my favorite but for an alternative drugstore mascara The Black Smoke mascara and brush (which is important) is by far my new favorite. I think it has become the favorite of other's as I am finding it harder and harder to be in stock in my local retailers. I really hope this product does not get discontinued because it is truly one of the best mascaras on the market.

This mascara is amazing!!!!  It makes lashes look fuller and longer. It status on all day without needing to reapply. Only problem is.....I can't find it anymore!???  No stores seem to carry it anymore?  Is it discontinued?  This makes me very sad if so!  Please bring it back!

The best mascara ever!

I purchased this waterproof mascara because the kind I normally get was out of stock when I needed it. Unfortunately, there's really nothing I like about this mascara. When I first opened it to use it the first thing I noticed was the brush. It looked sort of weird... kind of spidery. And that's exactly what it made my eyelashes look like. I usually see myself as having medium thickness, but with this mascara on my lashes looked thin and spidery. It lengthens lashes, but definitely does not make them appear thicker and has the opposite effect. Also, it wasn't really waterproof. I didn't notice a difference between this and washable mascaras I've worn. If I took a shower, it smeared. if I rested my eyes for a little while, it smeared. If I wore it for a long time (maybe 5+ hours) it would smear a little bit. So I was pretty disappointed.

Disappointed

I bought this product at Walmart in Greenville Michigan. I got home and discover the entire brush for the mascara was missing. Keep in mind the store is 21 miles away from my home. I then woke up, startd getting ready for work, applied my foundation, attempted to apply the mascra only to discover the entire brush was gone..... Took back to store, returned product and exchanged it for the exact same product.
Next morning (this very morning) began my regiment of getting ready for work. Again applied my foundation, went to put the mascara on (sitting at 63 miles of travel) and ONCE AGAIN the entire brush is missing off the tipe of the mascara. Absolutely awesome.
I will be again going back to the store to put my travel miles up to 105 miles... with the price of gas this is great...I will be returning this product but will not be replacing it with your. 105 miles on trip three to the store.
So basically I can't use the product. Even though I tried to just use my old mascara adapter... would barely fit and what did come out caused me eye irritation.

I bought 2 just because of all the great reviews. I won't ever do that again. If you like natural looking like you have nothing on then this is for you. I prefer to make my lashes look at least black . I got nothing from these. I would say the worst I've ever tried for mascara. I did try and build it up and then I even went back after dried and tried to put more on it just didn't really show up much on me. I have fairly long lashes.

Might as well just wear nothing

I used to be so in love with this mascara. I've used expensive name brand mascaras and this was and I stress WAS comparable. However the last few of times I purchased it the formula seems to have changed. It seems drier. After two coats it's like mascara that is a month old. I find it also clumps when it didn't before. It no longer lengthens due to the dryness of the formula. I'm really sad and disappointed. Time to search another brand?
