I&#39;ve used this for years and it&#39;s always good as long as it&#39;s not open it will last a very long time

The can was 7 ozs., just slightly less than 1 cup. Wish you could still buy it in the can, it kept forever and was always moist and flavorfull.

The can was 3.5 ozs, just a little less than 1 cup.

Purchased my packages in Feb 2016: expiration listed states good through May 3rd 2017. Hope this helped.

Love the Baker's Brand, good quality.  The coconut is more moist than other products, less clumpy.  Works well in my recipes.  The moistness in the coconut keeps my recipes perfect.  Other products seem to produce a drier coconut, leading to the recipe being too dry.

I always keep a couple of bags of coconut on hand to add to desserts, cakes, puddings, etc. Closed tightly with a clip or twist-tie, it will keep for long periods in the refrigerator without drying out. Toasting it, which improves the flavor, only takes a couple of minutes in a pan on the stovetop or on a baking sheet in the oven, and shaking in a jar with a drop or two of food coloring tints it for use in holiday baking or Easter baskets. Because it's already sweetened, you might want to reduce the sugar in your recipe a little, to avoid it being too sweet. Highly recommended.

I use for all my baking needs. Nice and sweet and not too heavy. Nice cut of flake and easy to apply to any frostings. I just love it. I recommend. It's a little more expensive than other brands but it's worth it. It doesn't stick to each other nor clumps.

I jumped on this as soon as it became available online. It is normally out of stock. This is the best coconut on the market, and it is the one that my grandmother always used in her recipes for cakes and pies.

I  purchased this an lots more from walmarts for  baking for the holidays....great prices, and great brands and I tried coconut once in generic brand somewhere.....it was okay.....but not  like this one and the price.....ty Walmart..
