I believe it will hold a small one but, I woudn't recommend it.

Yes this product is very sturdy it will hold a microwave. Its got great cabinet space also.

The cart top is 26" wide (left to right) and 18" deep (front to back) and made of solid wood. It is quite sturdy and I think it would accommodate most any microwave.

Yes, the top is solid wood and is about 18"x30". I have a full-size microwave on mine.

As long as the footprint of the microwave fits on the top, it will definitely hold the weight.  This is extremely sturdy - I was/ am impressed.

One can if one locks the wheels and uses a chopping board, although I don't do that, preferring to have the microwave on the cart and do my chopping on the fixed counter.

Yes you can chop food on the top. However because it is wood you will want to clean the surface with a disinfectant after each use.

A nice cart, a lot of room inside. I had to adjust one hinge & the back was warped a little. I'm in a wheelchair & didn't have any problem putting it together. Would have liked a darker finish, to match the kitchen cabinets.  But I like the looks of it & can use the extra storage space.

After trying to understand instructions which weren't too clear, none of the pieces were marked, we got it together. Took about an hour. It added much needed storage and the microwave fit perfectly on top. Another downside is not all 4 wheels lock only 2, would rather all of them lock.

I'm very happy with this purchase. Although the instructions were a tad bit tricky, it did go together as directed. I had no troubles.
It is all wood except the sides and back panel and is made very well.
The top is not a butcher block as some seem to think and I have a large Hamilton Beach Rotisserie Oven sitting on the top of mine with all its accessories in the cabinet.
Honestly, I can't think of any cons. It's a great little kitchen island with plastic wheels.

THIS WAS BETTER THAN EXPECTED,WAS JUST THE RIGHT SIZE FOR LARGE TOASTER OVEN, PLEANTY OF STORAGE SPACE INSIDE, IT DOES NOT TELL YOU BUT IT ALSO HAS LOCKING WHEELS, THIS IS A HARD WOOD, IT WAS VERY EASY TO PUT TOGETHER, TOOK ABOUT A HALF HOUR TO PUT TOGETHER WITH ONE PERSON, EASIER WITH TWO PEOPLE, WORTH EVERY PENNY,WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
