The controls are very easy to use. You have to put one of the controllers and the car on the 1st notch and the other on the other notch so they run on differant frequencies. There are 2 levers on the controller 1 works the steering the other works the forward and backwards drive motor. It is your basic wirele remote controller.

is this the bumper car set in your black friday weekend sale that was on sale cause that was about 20.00 or 25.00 so thought may be different set

Loved playing with these! Great sound effects! Everyone laughed each time driver ejected & screamed! Loads of fun for all ages!!

These bumper cars are an excellant toy for 2 five year olds (and their Dad...LOL) they had a blast. They wore out the 1st set of batteries and are going strong on the second set...the men pop out and yell YAHOO!!! when they are hit at the right spot. It is hillarious watching them play. These toys are the best thing they have had in a long time. They want to play with them all day long. Soon as they get home from school they want to play with them
I'd recommend these toys to anyone who wants to have a good time playing with remote control vehicles that are made to crash, or watch their kids or grandkids with them. It runs well on wooden or ceramic tile floors, I havn't tried them on carpet. They seem to hold up pretty good and they are brightly colored...Kids just love them (Dads too).

Excellant Entertainment

My 9 year-old Grandson really enjoys crashing the cars with his friends and trying to dislodge their driver. This is hours of fun.

Great fun!

I purchased these for my 7 year old son and he loves them. In fact, even I enjoy playing them. I am left handed so I have to hold the remote upside down, which is the only downfall. They are tricky to drive, but that makes it even more fun and challenging. You can play alone or with a partner and you don't need a large space to play. I strongly recommend these.

Grandkids loved it

Despite a few negative reviews, I still bought this for my grandson because it was what he picked out online for his birthday.  I am pleased to say that it works perfectly and he has had many hours of fun with it.

Bought for my son, so far seems to be a sturdy toy. He and his friends have really enjoyed playing with them. The only complaint I have is that they take ALOT of batteries.

Great Gift

One of the cars quit working with just 1 hour into play. Replaced batteries in car and remote, still didn't work.

They were very difficult to navigate and that is the biggest part of these. Also, the red guy would not eject from his seat. Very disappointed.

Hard to handle

Unfortunately item was broken when received. I will be taking it back to store this week. Looks like it had been used before.
