If you drink a pot of Coffee in the morning this may not be for you, but for 1-3 cups it's hard to beat. Make sure you use only Distilled Water, tap water is fine but you have to clean it more often. I've had one ot these for over a year with no problems. You can also buy different soups, tea, and hot chocolate.

Great Coffee Maker

I purchased this keurig this past week and it has been amazing so far. I recommend this version because it's simple and will brew any kind of k cup. The newer versions (2.0) only brew keurig brand k cups and you cannot use the reusable k cup on them. I prefer this much better.

We had so many makers this is just the best, each cup taste the same no waste. Brews super fast. So many diff. kinds of coffee to choose from or just use the filter and use whatever. Some complain about the noise it makes for a couple seconds. Its nothing get over it could not believe that it was some people's con on this product.Only thing get the filter if using tap water, Most blame the maker on a poor cup of coffee but 90% of it is the water . Tap water can change on on a daily basis a filter is worth it. For us its close to perfect except it does not get my cup from the shelf and then bring it out to me in my chair. But we cant have everything.

My parents bought this for me because I was in need of a new coffee maker. They have one and love it. Since getting it we have started to use it for everyday hot tea(my wife doesn't drink coffee) as well as coffee. Brews the perfect cup of coffee and tea. My wife likes it for the ease of use with the kids. They are able to make their own cups of hot chocolate. No guess work. Just the perfect cup everytime. NO WASTE.

Best Brewer I have ever used.

We have had this coffee maker ( K45) now for 2 years and we love it. I have seen that reviews where people were getting grounds in there coffee now and again we were also having that problem till a friend of ours said push the kcup down first then close the machine, sience doing that there has not been any grounds problem. This allows you to use almost any brand og Kcup with the fear of getting a last big gulp of grounds.

When my original Keurig died, the only thing I found to replace it was a Keurig 2.0. What a piece of trash! Have had trouble with it from Day 1, especially getting it to even fill a cup, not to mention the grounds. Have to use a french press to remove the grounds. When I saw this unit on sale, I bought TWO. We have this one at work and it has been fine ... no grounds in cup and keeps on truckin'. Newer is NOT necessarily better.

It ISN'T a Keurig 2.0

I bought this to replace an older Keurig that had lasted about seven years under fairly heavy usage. The pump motor on this unit sounds more robust than the old model, but the handle on the new model is cheaper plastic vs. heavy metal on the older unit. It will be interesting to see if this new Keurig lasts as long. The new model comes with some type of filter for areas with sediment or minerals in the water. There are three size selector buttons on this unit, vs. a switch you turned on the older model which eventually malfunctioned. Hopefully this set up is more durable. The new machine came with sample coffees and teas. It was very well packaged, so you could safely ship it as a gift. We go through the about 6 to 7 coffees per day, every day with this machine. The one at my office sees heavier usage of about 20 and is 4 years old.

Keurig K45 Elite Single Serve Coffee Maker

Had no issues with my last Keurig.  This one has been giving me an "interrupted brew" message at about every 6th cup.  Three times it has filled my cup with cold water that didn't seem to pass through the pod.  I like the light by the water holder but the lid that is over the Kcup is very cheap and flimsy.  So sick of things being made cheaper while the price goes up.

Returning

This is my 2nd Keurig and it also did not last more than a year. Returned the 1st one to the merchant for credit and bought another one (what was I thinking) at Walmart.  Now it to has continued to be a problem. 1st - started making loud noises; 2nd - no matter what cup selection I chose, I only got about 2 tbsps. of coffee so had to repeat the process until I had a full cup, if I still wanted coffee.  I've cleaned, cleaned, and cleaned it w/lousy results.  Would work for a couple of times, then same thing started over again.  Also, seems to hold mold or something in the part that rises w/the water level - can't get to it to clean it completely. Wonder if others have had these problems.
