The chair is really comfortable for me. Just what I wanted. I got the beige/tan color.. wish I had seen the option to order with ottoman but I didn't until afterwards! Now I want the ottoman but not sold separately :(

The chair was a pain to put together I will say.. but once we did it's really great for the price for sure! The one I wanted at the baby store was $800 for the chair and ottoman and that's crazy to me.  I like that this can be used in any room later on as well and doesn't look like it's only for baby room. Well worth the price and I got it on sale for $250 so that was awesome. I recommend getting the setup with ottoman though. I'm only 5'2 so the size is perfect. If you are like 6 ft tall though I would say get a bigger chair possibly.

I'm 5ft 1in so I can't touch the floor so I'll get a foot stool
After putting the chair together we noticed a stain on back part of the chair, I'm gonna try and clean it off. Easier than taking apart and turning.

Love my chair!

For the price this is a great buy. I didn't want to spend a ton of money on a glider, but I also wanted something that wasn't a complete eyesore. The fabric is soft, cushions firm, and just looks nice in general. I will invest in an ottoman to go with (for more comfort in the wee hours) it i just didn't want a matching one.

I was hesitant to get it after reading a few of the other reviews but I think it's great. It looks exactly like the picture.

To be honest, I was a little nervous ordering any chair online after reading reviews about damaged parts and it taking months to get the correct pieces. This arrived in less than a week, was simple to assemble, is quite comfortable, and looks high end for a cheap price!

Great chair

I loved the look and style of this chair. But I bought it for my 100 lb handicapped brother and two of him could fit in it. He needs a very narrow swivel rocker, glider. Next time I'll make sure I pay closer attention to the chair's dimensions. I really wanted to keep this chair but my family didn't have any extra room for it and it was specifically bought as a replacement chair for my handicapped brother. As I was returning it at a local Walmart, numerous customers kept coming up to me and asking about the chair. I explained and they all commented what a nice chair it was. I agree! Wish I could have kept it!

Wish the back was a little higher doesn't support your head, but was what I was expecting for the price. If buying for nursery I recommend also getting ottoman...

A little small but...

I wanted a glider for the new baby, but didn't want to spend a ton of money on something I was likely not to use a lot after the baby grows. just received the chair and surprised that it comes in four pieces (plus the cushion). it basically means that there are seams between all these pieces. It doesn't align perfectly, but definitely good enough for the price. It also seems to be good quality for the price. It is a firm chair but not too firm....just how I like it where you don't just sink into it, and instead provides support. all in all, would buy again for the price.

good for the price

My husband and I purchased this glider for our nursery, as I did not like the look of traditional gliders. I thought it was a great deal. I like the clean lines and construction of the glider from the pictures. I knew I was taking a chance because there weren't any reviews listed yet. I received the package site to store and the box it came in was practically demolished. There were huge gashes and holes in the box, and the chair was poking through the holes. We decided to take it home and assemble it anyway. Once we got the chair put together (assembly was fairly simple) I was very disappointment with the comfort of the chair. The seat and back cushions were very firm, and there was little to no back support. Also, my husband is 6'1'' and the back of the chair provided him no head support.

Bottom line: we plan to return this item immediately. We will either purchase a traditional glider or pay more for a higher quality cushioned glider.

Invest more money for a better glider

This chair is terrible. We just got it a couple weeks ago and it squeaks and makes so much noise when we rock in it. The "gliding" motion is more of an awkward rocking. The chair is very firm and uncomfortable. And it's designed in a weird way with the area where you sit being too high off the ground, but the back being really short. I have to sit forward and lean back in order to even rock my son in the chair. We are about to return this chair to WalMart for a refund. I don't recommend it to anyone.
