Foot room is OK if I take my shoes off.
I glued and duct taped  4 -12"pieces of a pool noodle together to fit in the stern to make more foot room and also foot pegs  (it was originally going to be my car roof protection cause I don't have a roof rack). Works great!!

So easy to set up and so easy to use on the lake. Had so much fun. Only thing is that the instructions are not that great but I used YouTube to figure it out and once I got out there it was easy to figure it out. Still gave it 5 stars. My nephew now wants one.

i bought this early last summer 2020 and have used it a good chunk of times since in lakes, rivers, canals, inlets... and its done great in all of them! make sure to put the little bottom fin on, I forgot the first time and was sliding around a bit. I've recommended this to literally anyone who will listen. I typically will inflate it a little ahead of time if i know I'm going to be taking it out and it makes it a 3-5 minute (maybe) process until I'm in the water. Fully inflating and getting in the water cant take more than 10min at the MOST.  this is really the perfect little adventure gear to have packed in your car where you can pop it out anytime you want! I've had no problems with holes or any other issues. make sure to be conscious of shallow water though as this is inflated it wont be able to take a drag over some sticks and rocks like a normal one would. over all thrilled with the purchase, great bang for your buck!

Really great find. The whole family enjoyed it!! Each kayak held 1 adult and 1 child(under30lbs) and floated just fine.

These packable kayaks will be perfect for us to throw in the car with our camping gear and head out to the lake. 

Inflation is quick and easy, under 10 minutes. The pump is very efficient. Deflation and packing up takes under 15 minutes. 

The kayak tracks much better than I expected, even with a 15 mph wind raising small waves on the lake.  It feels reasonably stable. The included paddle is also better than expected.

The float/footrest doesn't work as a footrest for me and my legs feel cramped when extended in the cockpit. I bend my knees a bit and bract my heels against each other. This raises my center of gravity a bit, but doesn't make me feel like I'm about to capsize.  Sometimes I put my legs on top of the cockpit.

While on the water, I stash the bag with pump behind the seat. A gallon ziplock bag of snacks fits under the cargo net.

I would not take this kayak where sharp rocks or branches might be submerged. Although heavy gauge, it is vinyl and could puncture or rip. For a lazy afternoon at the lake, it's perfect.  And if we want to take a hike, we can pack it and stow it in the trunk of our car. No worrying about thieves at the trailhead. 

These won't replace our hard shell kayaks, but they will allow us to get on the water even if we  have to pack light.

We tried two other inflatable kayaks before finding these. One was very durable, but as heavy and bulky as our hard kayaks. The other was a glorified pool toy. Both cost a lot more than the Challenger K1. Neither made it out of our living room and both went back to the store. I think we're set for summer fun now.

Surprisingly good!

This is a very popular first craft for people, everywhere I take it I see people that have the same one. And on YouTube this is what they recommend. You can inflate it in less than 10 minutes.

The perfect first kayak

Its definitely portable. Not too heavy to lift and carry. Its a little less stable because of that. Blows up quickly with an electric pump and deflates easily.

Good deal

This is my third purchase of this kasyak.  It's great for an easy lake or river trip.  Quick to inflate with the included hand pump.  Biggest negative is no real foot rest.  I am a 135 pound woman so it may be a different experience for a larger person.

Great value for an Inflatable kayak.

This was my first experience with an inflatable kayak, and only my second experience with any kayak.  I used it on a river and it worked very well!  It was easy to get in and out of from shallow water without getting soaking wet, and held up well the entire 90 minute trip.  There was plenty of room to put the carrying bag with the pump in the front mesh compartment.  I am 5'3" and had plenty of leg room.  You do need to crouch forward and bring your legs close to the seat in order to have some power while paddling and despite the skeg there is a bit of "side to side" movement in the front of the kayak, but overall it was great for a leisurely trip.  The set up was super fast.  It took me all of 10 minutes to inflate everything and get the seat strapped in.  The seat is somewhat comfortable but if you sit all the way back, it will be difficult to get any speed or power while paddling.  The paddle is fairly sturdy though.

Great beginner's kayak

We truly enjoy the inflatability, therefore transportability of this kayak! It seems to be holding up well as the vinyl is quick thick. The pump, which looks cheap, is actually really efficient. We plan to have many more outings this summer!

Great kayak for the money

Loved it...until a seam popped open on the inside of the stem after only 7 uses. I inflated it to manufacturers specifications each time, and I'm well under the weight limit.
