No, it is not. It has a slight "bulge" in the middle. It works fine on my electric stove, but I'm sure it won't for you new stove.

Is the bottom completely flat? This is a requirement for my new cermaic-top stove.

What is the weight of the pot and lid alone? Not the shipping weight, but the acutal weight of the items?

I was surprised when I unpacked  this pot  and noticed how lightweight it was for tots size. Although  the weight is great it also makes me concerned that if I accidentally bang it it will leave a dent on it. 

I  used the pot to make beans ( frijoles de olla) and it held up great! 

I did have the flame under medium to hot and I was surprised that it did not leave black char marks at the bottom of the pot since it has  light weights material and the beans took a few hours to cook. 

Overall I am very satisfied with the quality of the pot and would recommend to friend and family.

Lightweight Durable Pot

I used this pot a few times to cook pasta and soup.  I have a large family so I often need a pot this size as opposed to smaller ones to cook our meals.  The pot worked well, heated quickly, and my favorite part is how lightweight it is. Usually pots this size are heavy and a pain to turn and drain, this one is very lightweight though!

I love this pot. Finally, a pot that will not burn my food at the bottom.  The temperature was even in the pot through out the entire cooking process.

The pot is nice but what I didn't like is that it had a big dent on the bottom like it was dropped!

I was so excited to unbox my new pot on arrival! I was immediately disappointed because it was covered in dings and scratches. I can only imagine it's not going to hold up well if it arrived that way. 
The pot was discolored after the first use of boiling water for hard boiled eggs but I did follow up on the website and I read it is normal to see a change in color.
It's a light weight pot which is wonderful but the quality just isn't there.

I would like to start off by saying The Big box I opened was in Great Condition and then I saw there was another small box inside of it that was Untaped and Badly Damaged And inside that box was The pot and lid which the Lid was Dented so BAD that my Ex Husband will Not even be able to use it and this is Supposed to be a Christmas Present! And the pot itself has a Dent in the Bottom of it which I guess will be ok because it is still usable So in return Thank Goodness I had a Lid that fit the pot and On the Plus side is Even Way Better then the Flimsy Lid it came with so Its All good and I Can still send it as a Christmas Present :) But Over All I would Purchase again Because I Understand things Do Happen It came in Great Timing the Pot itself if In Great Shape would have Been a Great Pot and I Love Walmart So I would Recommend :)   Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays

Over All Good Deal

This pot seems to be well constructed but is very thin. Worked perfectly for making soup, but I'm hesitant to try making sauce in it as I think the bottom would burn to easily. It's very light and would be perfect for use in a camper as we are always worried about the amount of weight being towed in the camper.

Great value, lightweight pot

1) The pot came with a bent lid and it wasn't the transportation because it was packed very carefully in 2 boxes. Its a factory defect, most likely.
2) I was disappointed to discover that the pot is not coated inside. It's not healthy to cook in unfinished aluminum.
3) I did test it buy preparing a soup in it. Another thing to improve is the lid placement position when you put it on the side of the pot into the handle during cooking - it takes a horizontal position and drips on the stove.
4) I used little Estrella pasta and it stuck to the bottom.
I did appreciate the recipe included.

The tops are damaged don't fit the pot looks beat up not what I ordered. I order online because I can't leave my house now work from home it's not possible for me right now so it's not okay that I will have to leave to go and put it in Walmart or UPS to read the ship it for my refund, I just would love new lids that fit the pots

This cannot be used on a glass top stove.  This pot is VERY light and thin. Because it is so thin the bottom bows outward.  I was cooking beans, and very soon after the stove heated up the bottom bowed out and the pot started rattling, then spinning. I thought it was going to take off flying. I even tried using the low setting snd the same thing happened. 
The lid is also the cheap thin metal, not glass with a steam hole.
