Not really. I bought these for my 6 and 8 year old boys and my 5&#39;2 twelve year old gets on it just to play with them but the bar is too low for him.

I would say it&#39;s more for a 5-8 year old.  Both my boys have these and they are the perfect height for a 5 and 7 year old.

Yes, it can easily fold.  You just pull the lever and it folds up.
