This is a soft sided product so there is no rigidity to it. While it will protect your clothes it will not remain flat or folded on its own. You would have to decide for yourself whether or not you were ok with it going through the checked baggage process.

I would not consider this sturdy enough to check - it is designed for hand carriage

Very well built, and long enough for just about anything.  Can fold for carrying, which makes it a lot easier.

Good for dresses

Bought 3 of these to use while traveling in the car so my ironed items would not get wrinkled in a suit case.    Used the wire hangers I bought from Walmart and it held 4 to 5 hangers some with pants and tops.  Held up and served the purpose very well.

Garmet Bags for Car Travel

This garment bag is good for the price . The zipper pull came off after 1st use and had to repair it. Also there is no stop for the zipper so had to sew across the top and bottom to keep from zipping too far. Would prefer storage pockets be on the front of the bag.

Suits it's purpose

Very flimsy material. Will probably rip very easily.

Great for carrying a few items such as a suit, dress or coat.

This bag is OK for the price. The one issue is that the zipper is really cheap.  I don't expect it to last very long.

OK for the price....

The ends of the zipper do not have a stop bar. The raw end of the zipper is sewn into the top and bottom edge of the bag, just barely, and the end of the zipper pops out of the sewn seam. I zipped up one of the bags and the zipper tab pull came right off. I don't know if you have ever tried to put a zipper tab back on, but it is nearly impossible. I am very disappointed with the construction quality of this item and plan to return all three garment bags for a refund.

Poor zipper installation.

Zipper broke off the first time I zipped it up. I would not suggest buying this garment bag, I returned and bought a different on for actually a little less money. The new one is made by American tourister and works great for a light weight, nothing fancy garment bag

Very cheap

I got it home and I didn't even get to open it full length and I noticed a ripped seam. Don't waste your money.

A piece of garbage.

the bag is very flimsy and broke the first time I zipped it up. I would not purchase this bag it is awful.. there is nothing good about this bag. save your money.
