This issue was restricted to <1% of a container of goods which was produced without going through the proper manufacturing procedures. This is not an ongoing concern and the issue has been resolved.

Yes, after few weeks the smell goes away.

I had no problem with odor -- slight odor upon opening shipping box but dispelled immediately

I would assume you can wash the cover before assembly, but, since it has to cover the frame, I would not recommend putting it in the dryer, just air dry.

I just assemble mines 2 weeks ago and the smell was only when opening it from the plastic wrap. I would say the smell was a 4 on a scale of 1 to 10. It disappeared the next day. No problem at all.

I'm concerned after read reviews on the awful smell that so many people have described. Has this problem been solved?

The right side mirrors the left side. There are 2 shelves below as pictured.

I apologize... there are no shelves on the other side, the hanging space is full across both sides.

2 shelves plus the 2 drawers on the bottom. Supposely you can adjust the shelves to what ever height you want them but I haven't figured it out yet.

There are two shelves that can be adjusted to whatever level or side of the closet you want. Nice spacious drawers to store things in as well. Instructions were not clear and pictures on package and in instructions did not show you the interior of the closet which made it a little difficult to put together.

This closet has a steel frame inside and solid construction. I like that the doors open like normal doors suitable for everyday bedroom use. These doors DO NOT zip to open and close. Also, there is complete opening, so no flaps get in the way.

Better than reguler canvas closets!!

My husband and I were looking for a wardrobe to store his hunting items (clothing, gear, bow, etc) in as we have a small home and a new addition coming so we needed to conserve space the best we could as well as be organized. I found this and it had mixed reviews, but we purchased it and are so glad we did. It's not hard to set up and the doors close great (and the wardrobe is full!) and holds exactly what we need in the space we had. I would highly recommend this product!

Great product for the price!

Excellent for a room without a closet, plus its almost portable, can move it around easily as it is not heavy yet its sturdy enough to hold your jeans and leather jackets, etc. Fabric cover is great almost makes it look fancier then it is, and the sturdy doors are excellent. If you can't afford a hard and heavy wooden wardrobe this is your best alternative.

Wasn't too sure how this was going to work looking at it online but took a chance. Surprisingly, it is very sturdy and easy to put together. The directions are useless but with the picture on the box my husband put it together in 30 minutes. I would highly recommend. Walmart's price is great also, other stores selling online for more than double their price.

Sturdy unit

I was looking for a storage solution for my daughter's room, which has a tiny closet. This wardrobe had just the right dimensions, and holds a lot of clothing! I was able to hang 5 suits, 25 dresses, 17 blouses, 8 skirts and 5 cardigans. The 2 drawers at the bottom are huge!

The directions were easy to follow, although if you're like me, you need to wear your reading glasses, as the pictures are a little small.

The only drawback to this product is the vinyl smell! I've had it for a week and the smell seems to have lessened somewhat. Unfortunately, it's still very strong. I am not sure how long it will be before the smell goes away and if the smell will transfer to the clothing. I've taken a chance and have already put my clothing in it.
