We have it on a king size bed. It comes down over the mattress and we use a dust ruffle, which the quilt does not cover. So...if you want a spread to hit the floor, then no, but if you want a ruffle, this works fine. Hope that helps!

My queen covers the top mattress only, may want to go one size larger if hitting the floor matters, beware though this is a very cheaply made item

Unless you're going to use a dust ruffle, I would order a larger size than what your bed is (if full, order king). That way, it will hang down further on the sides.

Yes. More than ample for a twin and probably will nicely fit a full size.

The one I ordered was a twin and it definitely fits the size of a twin bedspread. Although I cut mine in half and sewed the edges with the same color binding so I can use them as throws in my living room instead, it was definitely the size of a nice sized twin bedspread. I would assume that a full, queen or king would do just as nicely as a bedspread.

I didn't need them, but I don't see them available anywhere for you. What I would do is get shams somewhere in a solid color found in the quilt, ie: red, navy, tan, lt. blue, white, etc.., just an idea :-).

Walmart sent me an email ad for the shams. I responded immediately and ordered two. They were $4.97 each. Try going to the page the quilt is on and put "Home From the Sea" pillow sham in the search engine.

lighthouse quilt beautiful as well as great price

I bought my From the Sea bedding online because I live on the water and it seemed fitting...it was, to my surprise, very attraction and comfortable...at such an inexpensive price..it appears to be well made, as well...

attraction and reasonably priced

Got the quilt for my adult son. We were both pleasantly surprised by the size. softness and lovely pattern. It's bigger than I thought it would be and the material is lightweight and soft, which other reviewers led me to believe it wouldn't be. The price is modest and I'm now waiting for the matching shams to arrive that I ordered a couple days ago. We are very pleased with this product.

Better Than Expected

I use this as a throw over my sofa AND loveseat. I made two by cutting one in half lengthwise then sewing the edges with the same color binding. The length even though it's cut in half is still great to be used as throws. It's a cute look for a country style home!

Great country style quilt

For anyone who gave this a low review for it not being a "true quilt", "quilt stitched" or "heavy," keep in mind it is only $20 and this is the best you will get for the price. Perfect for summer sleeping because it is super light. It's a little rough on top but that helps it keep shape on a made bed throughout the day. It looks beautiful, goes with any nautical theme. One note i'd like to include tho, it looks more masculine, I feel like my bed looks like it's meant for a little boy now LOL.

Good Bedspread

Wanted a lightweight quilt for the bunk beds. This is it!

Very cute, good quality for the money. I am very satisfied.

A very nice quilt - the colors were a touch different than we expected (the red was a bit brighter and the blue deeper) but that may have just been our monitor. It was NOT an issue and the colors look great together. Can't comment on durability as we just got it, but overall very pleased!

Very nice and fun pattern

This is a super thin quilt, only suitable for hot summer night, not for September now. I have to buy a blanket to put on it so that I would not awake again in the midnight due to the coldness.

Too thin

I like the design very much though I wanted it as dark as the pictures it's not, this is a printed very thin piece of material with a plain white backing , the sewn together in a wavy pattern, there is no batting whatsoever between the 2 pieces like a true quilt, the only I bought this for to replace I bought at Kmart for 29.00 and it is so much better, very thick and heavy, this will only see my bed in the summer when it's warm enough to not matter.
