This is not a bike you would want to buy if you are planning on transporting it around on vehicles. It is best used for transportation itself. I use it for shopping at Costco, it carries a lot of stuff, but not a good bike to carry. Also, if you live up 5 flights of stairs this is not the bike for you.

Does the front wheel have a quick release?

I read a couple of bad reviews for this bike before buying it but the complaints did not seem valid to me (complaints for things I don't care about) so I went ahead and purchased it. I'm happy with the purchase. The bike arrived mostly assembled - had to assemble the front wheel/fender, the handlebars, front luggage rack and assemble the pedals onto the crank arms - very little assembly required.

The bike rides great and the big tires help cushion the shock from the rough roads around Tucson. Tucson is fairly flat but, none the less, has a lot of gradual but long inclines so the gearing is a tad higher than I would like (I rarely ever use 3rd gear), I plan on putting a smaller sprocket on the front to get better use of all three gear ratios (a fairly cheap modification even if I have a bike shop do it). So overall I am happy with the bike, there have been no issues. To sell a bike with this many features for such a low price they needed to use some cheaper components but everything is good enough quality to work fine (we don't all want to spend $2500 for a real Dutch bike) so I give it 5 stars.

Great cargo bike - I haul a lot of groceries on the thing - it works great.

I had to make a trip to the hardware store before I could complete the assembly because some of the hardware was missing, other than that it is a good product.
