Hisense is the number 1 manufacturer in China for the past 8 years, and number 4 in the world.

I have heard of it but this is my first time buying this brand. They have a big R&amp;D center in Atlanta as well. From all of the reviews and my experience with this TV they are definitely a value brand but can be trusted to deliver a decent TV for the price.

Try to Google Hisense TV Manufacture and you will discover who Hisense has acquired in the industry and it should put your mind at ease knowing they are driving the technology behind such names as: Hitachi, Lucent, Matsushita, NEC, Sanyo, Toshiba, and Qualcomm. Hisense may not be a household name but sharing a production line with Hitachi it has to be gaining technology.

What can you tell me about the manufacturer of this TV? Never heard of HiSense before?

Can you connect to a web browser on this particular smart tv?

GB1 doesn&#39;t come equipped with an Ethernet port in order to price it at $50 cheaper than GB.

Both models are identical. Because: Marketing.

Paul is correct; the only difference is that this model DOES NOT feature an ethernet port. Wifi is still supported of course.

So exactly what ARE the differences between the GB and the GB1 model? Must be something otherwise why two models. Can&#39;t buy one now until I know.
