For the absolute dead of winter, I would say no, unless you plan on doing a lot of layering with fleece or sweaters. It is better suited for more transitional weather; so it would be better for late fall into milder winter days.

How warm is this coat? Would it be sufficient for a northern winter (down to 20-30 degrees F)?

Yes, I believe it will keep water off of your little one but if you are looking for a coat just for rain I would suggest one that is a little thinner because this almost seems like it&#39;s built for snow and cold.

Is this little jacket waterproof or at the very least water resistant?

I bought this coat for my 3 1/2 year old twins. They are average sized and the 4t fits them well. They seem to be warm. The girls played out in the snow today and did not complain of being cold. I purchased the teal colored coat with the stars. It is a cute coat!

Great coat for the price!

I bought the lime green jacket for my three year old great niece. After she received it in the mail, it was hard to get it off her.

I got the polka dot style for my 18 month old, who's almost 19 months. The 18 mo size was ok but I could tell she would need a 2T for the next few months. So I returned it for a 2T size. She LOVES it, wanted to put it on immediately, it's nice a soft inside and the design is really cute. It seems insulated enough to keep her warm. It's a good price!

Cute coat!

I bought the black coat with the neon stars for my 16 month old. She's on the chunky side with a big belly so I bought the 3T. The coat is a little big in the shoulder area and the sleeves are too long. But it fits good in the belly area and I just roll the sleeves up for a perfect fit! It's nice and warm and I have room to put a fleece underneath on the colder days. They had the hat to match in the store. I love the coat and I'm thinking about buying another one in a different color.

Very nice jacket, especially for the price. Perfectly warm for an Arizona winter, may have to put a hoodie on underneath on very cold days. Very soft on the inside, my daughter loves it. I also purchased the boy version of this jacket for my son who loves it as well! The teal color is beautiful, and it fit true to size.

Great Jacket

I got a great jacket for my daughter for a very low price. The sleeve has an additional cuffs made of fleece that will not allow the wind to get inside. The jacket is not intended for cold winter. The best time for her spring and autumn. The child will always be warm. The color is very intense and beautiful, jacket looks better than on the website. I have chosen purple.

Excellent jacket

I bought this for my 3 year old daughter and it is just the cutest. She really likes the color and the hood. The fit is great and I love it is a bubble coat as it stated. The hood fits on her head very well. It's not to bulky which is a plus for us since it doesn't get too cold or that much snow hate in Georgia. I will recommend this to others and I would buy another next year. Two thumbs up.

Very Nice

I love the color but the sleeves run long and it doesn't seem like it would hold up to too many washes. However, it is very cute and warm. It was priced so well that if it makes it through the season, I will feel like it was a pretty great value.

okay for one season

While my baby is eight months old, she is extraordinarily long-limbed (arms AND legs), so shopping for her is a challenge. In separates, 12m clothes fit just fine. In sleepers and one-pieces, she needs 18m (did I mention she has long limbs? Oh, big feet, too). I bought this jacket for her in 18 months, since she's never seemed to need anything bigger than that yet for anything else.

I was pleasantly surprised when this came in the mail. It's soft, plushy and warm. When I put it on her, however, I was slightly disconcerted. The fit is kind of odd, even on our odd-shaped baby: Where we'd normally have an issue with too-short sleeves and too-long material on the belly, we have too-long sleeves and it's very short on her belly.

It isn't as long as we'd hoped, but it works. At least the sleeves are long enough for her long arms!

Funky Fit

Decent winter jacket. My daughter wears a 24M size so I ordered a 24M knowing it might be too small but I thought a 3T would be too big. The 24M fits good now but she can't wear too many thick layers underneath.

Bought a 4t and was way small for my daughter who regularly wears 3t clothing. Disappointing.
