God no! Goldfish need bigger tanks. Don't let yourself be fooled by what the common mistake people make. You will kill your goldfish if kept in this tank for a long time. Goldfish may grow outside to their tank size, but their insides keep growing to their adult size. This plus many other factors like how dirty goldfish generally are, are one of the reasons goldfish in small tanks don't last very long or die alot.

Too small of a tank unless you only want one fish. More suitable for 3-4 neons or zebra danios

Yes, I have a goldfish in this tank and he LOVES it! Dont listen to everybody else this is a great tank! However i would only recomend one or two SMALL goldfish for this particular setup =) Maybe get a goldfish and a couple other smaller fish breeds

Yes! I kept a goldfish in this tank for 3-4 years and he did very well for himself. He also got very large! :)

1-2 goldfish will work OK if you invest in a good charcoal power filter (the Tetra 2-5 gallon one works good with mine). You must do 30% water changes weekly using pre-treated water or you risk ammonia buildup that will kill the fish. Treat tap water each week in a separate container by using an aquarium water dechlorinater solution and allow the water to sit exposed to air for at least 3 days. Goldfish technically require a minimum of 10 gallon per fish but they can be raised in smaller tanks if you maintain the water properly.

NO! Gold Fish Need Over 20 Gallons To Survive.

Absolutely not! Goldfish are of the carp family and grow very large. They should ideally be kept in around 30-40G of water per fish. Fancy goldfish need slightly less volume than single tailed such as comets or commons but still need a lot of room. These tanks are really only good for one male betta, and even that's pushing it...

I use black gravel so it doesnt "clash" with the different light colors

I'd say clear or white. Those two colors compliment any color you pick by reflecting off of the pebbles.

White will reflect the most light, but it'll also show more when it gets dirty and if any algae grows. There are some neon coloured rocks that work great in little tanks like these. I put hot pink in mine, and they also make a bright neon green and a yellow. And there's a mix with a bunch of bright colours and some white.

Go with a black or dark colored gravel to really show off the fish colors.

Darker gravel work bests with the LED lighting.

What color gravel reflects the different color lighting the best?

For the air pump I purchased a aqua culture 5-10 gallon air pump..works amazingly

Call or email the manufacturer if something is wrong with the ones you have. They'll send replacements. Likely those will go bad, too, though. Mine did!

Might light started going out a few months ago as well... I bought a small clip lamp for above the tank which has done the job for a few months. Recently I decided to just buy a new tank, though.

I still love this aquarium because of how it looks and the plenty of space for my beta fish, thats why i gave it five stars.
 But, I got my aquarium 3 days ago and this morning I tried turning on the led lights and they didn't work. It started smelling like burnt plastic and then I went to check the outlets and it was smoking and about to catch on fire! 
Now, after I read all the instructions, I found out that it needs a SPECIAL ADAPTER!! So, if you dont want your house to catch on fire, you need to buy it separately because we can't use a regular charger head/cube. That was the problem!
The company needs to make a warning that says we need to buy special adapter separately in order to connect the lights to the outlet.

I love this fish tank, for one its affordable for starters. it has everything I need. I love it, my sons Betta loves it even more. Scotty-Doo-Da has been super active ever since we put him in his new tank. Best buy for your pet. Don't forget to condition your fishes water.

Great tank for someone just getting into fish. The lights are a neat idea, though I rarely use them. You can visually "lose" a fish due to the rounded shape. The filter tube in the center sometimes makes cleaning or catching fish slightly difficult. But really these are minor faults. Nice tank for the price and purposes.
