It comes out of the left side right underneath the toaster and the cord is somewhat of a decent length, not too long but not as short as others I've seen

The cord is attached under the middle right side, but can easily be routed under the toaster and out to the back if that is better for reaching the outlet.

It comes out of the back, and is about 1 long. So it needs to be pretty close to an outlet. There are also crumb trays in the back.

Thank you for your question. This unit Model 24444 allows for standard size bread and wider slots for bagels. The toaster slots are approximately 5.75 inches long.

The slots easily accommodate large bagels, but as far as like a scalli bread or a longer slice style bread you will have to flip it half way through the cycle...

Does this toaster allow for gourmet breads that are larger in length than regular bread

This is the best toaster I've ever used. The first time I used it I was blown away at how even both sides were toasted. I got worried at first because one side of the heating elements didnt look like they were working but they were.

Be careful with the setting, medium made my toast well done (not burnt) but dark drown. I use the second lowest setting and it is beautiful golden brown toast EVERY TIME!

Durability may be an issue.. the sides and handles are plastic so I hope they hold up over time. I don't see why they wouldn't with normal use.. Just dont drop it off the counter.

Excellent product for a great low price!

This toaster, even though at the lower end of the price spectrum, is just as good if not better than all the rest. It has everything you would want in a toaster, works well and is an excellent value! A good find!

I purchased this product for myself. I've had a 2 slice toaster forever and decided to treat myself to an up grade. It's good looking and the bread slots are great for texas toast as well as begals. I love the ability to select the lightness or darkness for each two pieces of toast. I like my toast a little darker than everyone else and this toaster makes it easy. I didn't want to spend a fortune and give up quality. I got great quality for a great price.

I had to replace my old toaster. I looked on line at Walmarts page. I wasn't looking at features, just a name I knew and a reasonable price. I was surprised to find free shipping available. It arrived in 3 or 4 days which was a pleasant surprise. As I plugged it in I noticed three buttons under the lever, so I began to read the instructions. I found the neat features it has. Needless to say I was very happy with my purcthase.

Tried 3 different toasters, better 'brand image' than H-B, but none of them (all more expensive btw) had bagel functions that worked right.

Okay, room for improvement, like making the total toasting surface bigger to accommodate bigger bagels, or wide-loaf breads. Minor issues that are actually trivial. The handles could have been arched more, following the lines of the case's curve...again, trivial.

I love the little baffle plates that apparently help disperse the heat more evenly than the bare elements. That alone offsets the minor issues. I get the feeling this will be a toaster like Grandma had... lasted forever.

If you are looking for a good product at an exceptional price, this is it!

Finally got a 4 slicer with working bagel function

Considering the price this is an okay toaster. Doesn't brown both sides easily and takes longer for the bread to pop up than my older toaster did and when I hit the cancel button bc I've gotten tired of waiting for the toast to pop up the slot doesn't come completely up so I have to push it up myself in order to get the toast out.

took a few attempts to get the setting correct, but once we did it's great
bread slots are a good size and bagels should work well in it.

First use ...one toast darker than other from same 2 piece toaster. In fact lighter toast was almost not toasted at all. Not too happy

I tried toasting normal bread slices and found the bread only toasted on its right side for both slices.
It's obvious this toaster is only good for bagels. Since I refuse to hassle any return policy, I tossed this useless toaster into my recycle bin and bid ado.
