it stays loud and get louder like ice braking

I sleep a lot in the day time, so i like it to give off a little noise to drown out the kids or anyone else being loud. But to answer your question i sleep just fine with it on. no problem.

pretty quiet and the manual explains sounds for you. I am a light sleeper and this is quietier than most window a/c's I have had-stryfoam keeps sound down as well like sound proofing

its not too loud, mainly fan noise and possibly water paddling noise because of no drain, but not a reliable a/c unit at all.

I bought this unit for my bedroom but it&#39;s way to loud to leave on at night. Sounds almost like a vacuum cleaner.

No This Unit Does Not Have A Remote Nor Does It Have The Infrared Option To Even Use A Remote. It Is A basic But Very Good AC Unit

Mechanical means no remote and no electronic temperature control or indication.

This can depend on different factors. It could be your room too big or heat outside or the sides of the unit are not properly sealed off. Check for any air coming in around the unit. If there is a door near where people are in and out that reduces the cool. My room is 12feet by 14 feet in size and mine cools fine.If you try these suggestions you might want to call customer service.

I don't know but I am having the same problem after just a week of it working great and I am really mad about it.

At times the air doesn't feel that cool coming out to me either, but what is important is whether the room is cooled. Close doors, windows, vents, etc. to create a sealed room so the AC can do its thing.

As long as it properly cools the room, it's doing alright.

You answered your own question - smaller means not as huge an output. The Comparison chart showed me the lower ratings, but I've found if you keep the thermo around 3-4 and ESPECIALLY the fan part on LOW, it'll put out comfortable colder air and make a 15'x'15' area very livable even if it's 90F-ish outside. Adding another room fan for circulation doesn't hurt either as turning the setting for the fan down will reduce the 'push' and also reduce the warmer air getting sucked into the bottom front to be cooled.

Unfortunately this isn't an ice cube, but it will perform as a decent bedroom/small room unit with closed doors, etc.

I needed a small A/C for a small bedroom. Went online to see who had what and how much. Checked all the home improvement stores first then all the department stores I could think of. Walmart had the best price out of all of them. I checked out the reviews on that model number and thought I would try the Haier brand. I bought it on 8/18/2017 and installed it that night. The installation was easy and painless. Some reviewers have said the A/C unit is loud but to me it is not but then I am used to having A/C window units. As far as the cooling goes it gets cold, sometimes I have to adjust the thermostat.I paid 97.00 dollars for a Haier 5000 BTU  model number HWF05XCR-L. Works great and I would buy another one for that price.
