If you pull hard enough you can separate the drawers. Each of them is fully frames once apart so would work fine under a bed, you need 8" about of space. You should get a roll of duct tape also, unless the floor is carpeted with thick carpet they will likely keep sliding out as a unit and not an open drawer.

no the frame is one piece. The drawers them selves will come all the way out though.

You probably need to look for single drawer units for your dorm room

The drawers can come out but then you&#39;d be stuck with the actual cart frame; which you can take apart. For me personally that would be a hassle, however if it works for you then go for it. I hope I&#39;ve answered your question Good luck at college :)

Mine are about 23 1/2 inches without the wheels and 25 1/2 with the wheels on , very short .. the last ones I got about 3 years ago from Homz ( single ) 3 drawer were much better made was about 30 inch with wheels on ..

This 3 drawer cart is wonderful for me. It holds all my cloths that I wear now with room to spear. I am in a wheelchair and in a special hospital bed and have my bedroom now on the other side of the house; and this drawer is a live saver. Was using a 2 drawer filing cabinet but had to many cloths that I couldn't fit them in the cabnet any longer. Now I can see what I have, and none of my cloths are wrinkled.

Fantastic Dresser drawers

Love it

I needed something to keep my crafting supplies in. I also wanted some extra room to store other things. This was the answer to both of my problems. It is sturdy, nice looking and easy to open and close. If you don't like the fact that you can see through it, then do what I did and put some contact paper or any decorative paper on the inside of the drawer.

Recommend that you buy it.

I put 2 of these next to each other and put all my sweaters in them. I had them originally on the top shelf of my closet and it was very inconvenient. I love these bc they made my closet much more organized. Now I know what sweaters I have.

I did not put the wheels on as I placed it on top of an existing dresser. I did keep them though, in case I want to put them on in the future. The size was perfect for what I wanted. The drawers pull out and close easily with no scraping. I like that I can see in them. It is not flimsy and doesn't move around when opening and closing the drawers. The top supports some items as well.

Great as a small dresser

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice size rolling container and provides great storage for crafts, garage, guests. 

It has thoughtful features like a recessed top so items will not roll off, drawer stops so you can't push/pull them out, and casters.  I like that the drawers are clear, making it easy to find things.  The frame seems pretty sturdy.   The drawers are sturdy enough. There are no brakes on the casters but that hasn't been an issue with me.   I do wish that the top was more rigid.

Nice size

These are the perfect movable storage in an area without carpet. The wheels are plugged into plastic bases that do tear away if the tower (6 drawers) isn't moved carefully. However, they do move. A tower of 6 drawers holds all sorts of loose "kitchen drawer" and "sock drawer" junk, but are too flimsy for tools or books, particularly in the area of the tearable wheel posts. I got enough use out of these to warrant buying 7 towers. Tip: When a wheel, typically the back pair, rip their plastic peg holes; then pop apart the shelves, move another section to the bottom with fresh wheel holes, and it's fixed. (These shelving units come apart, so you can make a 3 drawer unit a 2 drawer unit or a 1 drawer unit.)

Movable storage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the plastic 3 clear storage drawer container. I like that this has wheels to the bottom of it for I can easily roll it anywhere in my home. I like that the drawer are clear plastic for I can easily see what I have in there without having to open it all the time. I will recommend this product to anyone.

Plastic storage drawer

I half expected these rolling carts would have a fairly strong, durable plastic frame. They are really flimsy. If you are going to put crafts,lightweight stuff like clothes, knitting, or paper goods storage, okay. But I needed it to use as alternative temporary storage for small amount of dishware, silverware, 3 or 4 light weight pans, a few bake ware pans, pot holders, & other kitchen utensils. The drawers are very thin. So thin that upon delivery, I noticed right near the edges two of the drawers were cracked. I had already got rid of the boxes so I didn't return them, I taped them with clear packing tape. They will stay put, not be rolled around, and serve as a temporary fix for now. In future, will only put very lightweight materials inside if used as a rolling cart.
