The enamel on the outside should last the life of the pan, as you'll get so sick of scrubbing the inside of the pan you just won't use it.

They haven't remained non-stick for me. I hate these pans. And I feel like a schmuck for wasting money on them.

Definitely not. After a few months (2-3) the enamel is completely scratched and stained and everything sticks to it.

No. I agree 1000% with the other people who have answered this question. These answers are more reflective of the actual pan than those in the reviews.

I was a bit skeptical of the claims made by the manufacturer but these pans are amazing. These pans are now my favorite and all my others have been pushed to the side. Clean-up is a breeze. I am amazed at how evenly these pans cook things like pancakes. Eggs cooked sunny side up with no fat didn't even stick to the pan and lifted like magic.

Safe, ceramic non-stick set. If you follow directions (do not use under high heat conditions, use a sparing amount of oil, and wipe clean with soapy water after allowing pan to cool) this set will service you  long time.

Great ceramic non-stick set

Nicely made, long time nonstick if treated well. One thing to consider: these pans don't come with lids. I had 10" and 7" lids from previous buys so planned to use them when needed.. Actually, these pans are 10.5" and 7.5" so lids won't work, too small. You might want to shop pans with lids.

Good buy, with one caveat

I have cooked with these 2 pans every other day since I received them. I eat a lot of eggs and I love em sunny side up or over easy or toad in a hole. Finally have yolks that don’t burst on a flip. And the clean up was effortless. I am in love with my set.

Perfect Nonstick Pans

My pans took two weeks to arrive for pick up. Upon receiving my pans the 10" pan had a gouge in the bottom of the metal. After speaking with the GreenLife company they highly suggested that I return the defective pans. I was able to locate the pans in a local store and purchased them there. The pans themselves are wonderful! They cook evenly and without ANY oils, although I add just a little bit for flavoring. They are so simply to clean, just a quick wipe and done! I hope they last a lifetime!

Long ship time & defective pan

This is the 3rd set that I have bought of these Fry pans. We gave our daughters each a set, too because I hated going to their houses and seeing their fry pans soaking in the sink so that they could get them clean. You do not have to use anything in the pan if you don't want like butter or olive oil. You can fry an egg without butter. The clean up is exceptional. Wipe the pan out with a paper towel and then wash it. For young busy mothers, or for full time workers, this is a great set. I may even buy the whole set of kettles becasuse i like them so much.
