The twist ties in this product are yellow.

In the past the ones I got had a basic white tie to them.

They are white with red writing on the whole  strip of ties that is a warning about keeping plastic bags away from small children. The warning is pretty much unreadable when you tear off just one, so red and white.

Great Value Twist Tie Bags only come in gallon size. Quart is available with a double zipper closure, but not a twist tie.

At this time this product is not available in the quart or half gallon size.

It doesn't say on the box. It used to be made by Glad and was thicker, now it's a thinner bag, sadly, but I still use it.

I can find nowhere on the box where it tells you the thickness but there is an   800 number to call and they may be able to tell you , call 1-877-505-2267

We used these for a PTA project, we needed gallon bags that were good quality and cost efficient to pack kits in; these worked perfectly. We did not need the twist ties that come in the pack since the bags were long enough to make a knot at the end.

Perfect for school projects!

I hate zop-lock bags.  Love these - they do not zip.  Yea ! 

 %231 If zip lock bags are aren't sealed perfectly, the items spill out of bag when taken from the freezer or the fridge. 
 
%232 - Easier to fasten a plain gallon baggie. I can use one of these bags, twirl it around, fasten a bread tie to it, much quicker than a twist tie.   

%233  Plus hard to get all the air out of zip lock bag before you close it.  I use these all the time when going on a trip, because I can get the air out.  Fit more in suitcase too.

%234 is that ziplock bags are much more expensive than these regular gallon baggies.  

%235 - then if you are old, and cannot open jars esily, then trying to re-open  zip lock bags is also trouble.  Tortilla bags are some of the worst.  

%236   Frozen foods in zip lock bags are so hard to open that after I get them out of freezer, I have to take two pairs of pliers - put one on each side of bag, to pull the bag apart..  

So I appreciat these just plain gallon bags very much.  Please don't stop making them....Picture of these gallon plastic bags is at the top of this review.

I liked it very much my banana nut loaf bread fit perfectly, and had extra room to tie it.

Great price for a product that comes in handy whenever and wherever. I used them in the small desktop and bedtop waste baskets for nursing the bedridden. They are small enough to fold and stick in a bag for unexpected emergencies and yet easily hold a gallon's worth of whatevers. Very thin and without a zip closure, but can be twisted without the ties and tucked away.

Hate plastic, love these.

i like these for storing a lot of used shoes separately in a tote. .  they are cheap per each bag, and the right size.  i rarely use for food, but  for other storage they are handy . This time, the item was  shipped i think, and so it arrived properly packed  unlike when they  bring it in someone's car. [They do that  far too often when i had actually requested SHIPPING.]

Lower cost than Kroger and the twist ties are so much wider! The twist ties do not come off when the bag is pulled. Awesome twists stay closed and have much more space to grip for twisting and reuse. Twist ties are six times wider than Kroger and are easier for larger hands and hands that cannot manage smaller twists.

I have a compromised immune system, so these bags were extremely helpful during the pandemic! I use a wipe to clean packaging for the fridge/freezer, but wiping liquid on bread bags doesn't really work very well. I was able to transfer the bread products to these bags %26 dispose of the "dirty" packaging. I also use plastic covered containers, but the bags require less dishwashing effort.

Lots of bags for a small price

They're great for use in many areas other than food.
Storage for bread, leftovers covers my bowls when microwaving, bake my potatoes in the microwave. Good for storing little odds and ends that you want to keep together. Covering or storing food in refrigerator. So many things that I can't even remember. It's just such a habit to go and pick them up out of the bag and use them for anything and everything. So don't let me down keep on making them.

Great product at a great price.

I received this item with spilled laundry detergent and now am required to dig them out of the trash before I can be refunded.

They won't come out of the box without pulling out an awful lot at once. 
Otherwise the bags are what I want. I use them every day.
