I am not sure how an induction burner works, however this is a fairly heavy metal pot. The instructions say not to use it on a smooth top stove but I have not had any issues with using it on my ceramic cook top

I have been using Granite Ware porcelain for many years. I was heart-broken when the company closed, and totally thrilled when Cinsa USA took it over. They have continued to make Granite Ware with the same high quality and I will continue to use it. Much as they advertise it to be nonstick, it is not. It does however clean relatively easily as long as it is not used with high heat, since it does not have a thick bottom.

Best there is for all porcelain, nontoxic cookware

My family have use this type of pot for years, low cost cook food evenly , this pot will also cook on a Nuwave Induction cook top. Just make sure there is water in the pot before turn the cook top on, I all ways start out with at least 2 in. of water in the pot.

Very good for price, Will buy again

I needed a pot deep enough to sterilize two quart canning jars, which it did but barely with the requisite 2" of water over the top of the Ball jar. There was oversplash during the 10 minutes of a rolling boil, but I wrapped a kitchen towel above the handles to catch the splashes and got the job done. This pot is very light so I don't think I'd want to cook something that would scorch easily, but I do appreciate the glass over steel construction for cleaner cooking. Made in Mexico for an American company.

Served my purpose

Good stock pot-its thin though-That's not bad-things heat and boil quicker-however, its too thin for heavy stews that have to simmer for hours.

super thin! the lids are sharp edged and so lightweight boiling water will toss them right off - i bought 3 sizes and they are all the same. the paint chips off easily and surprisingly they hold odors! enamel shouldn't do that so…. for soup inside stirring constantly (so it doesn't burn to the bottom immediately) maybe, but definitely not outside on a campfire :/ i'm not using them for cooking at all. they look cool and are helpful as “baskets” for some things though.
just one opinion but these reviews really help me decide stuff so i'm trying to return the favor.

Used 3 times and only to make chili. Used correct utensils and washed according to instructions. Has a rust spot! Wasted money, now we have to get another one after only a few uses. Don’t waste yours! Learn from our mistake! Wish we could get our money back!

In very small print on a small label on the front of the pot it informs you that it can't be used on a glass stove top. I bought this online, and nowhere online does it mention this.

Unusable for a lot of people

I ordered two granite ware pots online and one of the pots came with the enamel chipped off on the inside bottom of the pot and the cover. Very disappointed

We received the package with no packaging inside. No paperwork. Pot was all scratched and dented. Fed Ex must have Damaged it before it got delivered to us. Product looked like it was a returned item.
