I have been looking for an economical compact bench to use at home, I noticed this bench at a very reasonable price and decided to give it a try. I was afraid the bench would end up being one of the shorter benches that I have read about in other bench reviews, I received it yesterday and put it together and it is a very nice bench, I am 6' tall and it is plenty long enough. I used the bench this morning for dumbell lifts and it is very sturdy. Very good product at a good price.

As someone who has been weight training for over 10 years, I can say that this bench is a great value if you are just looking for an inexpensive bench to do incline, flat, and decline exercises. Note that it is essentially a slant board, so while the back adjusts to any position, the seat cannot be adjusted and is fixed in a decline position. I didn't find this to be much of a problem - I'm able to do flat bench exercises (found those easier with the leg pads off), but if you are looking for a bench that adjusts to a completely flat position then this is not your answer. Still for the price you can't beat it - add a pair of dumbells and you basically have a home gym.

This bench stinks man, stay away from it if you can find another one in the same price range. After 2 weeks of use, I still don't like it. Here is the truth about this product. The bench is TOO angled you can never get flat, the pictures make you think it's not that bad or it adjusts, but your booty is always at 45 degrees. The pad is not supportive either, it's hard on your back and I'm not a cry-baby, this thing is just cheap. I also struggle a lot with getting the pin to go all the way through when adjusting the angle. On a good note, it looks nice, is lightweight, and when the pin works it is fairly smooth changing positions. The base is wide enough too so it doesn't tip from side to side. Stay away though, I grabbed it due to price and being on the shelf, but it's not something I would buy again.

We were pleasantly surprised with this bench. The durability and quality were better than we expected for only paying $50 bucks for it. We definitely recommend this bench to anyone who is interested in doing ab or lifting workouts. We would purchase again in a heartbeat!

Good, but only if you don't need a flat bench.

Great price, solid piece of equipment, and easy to assemble, following well-written instructions. So, all-in-all an excellent value. I downgraded it on "Meets Expectations" because I thought, from the online and on the package descriptions, that this bench could lie flat. But no; it's a slant bench. It can be called "flat" only if completely reclined (with blood rushing to your head, or your head on the seat, and your feet on the floor.) It suits my purpose for most of the exercises in my program (i.e., seated or incline presses, flyes, and rows) but not for those really requiring a flat bench (e.g., a chest press or overhead tricep pull-over). Partly my fault for not researching the product.

    • A. i used to work at a gym, and took advantage of all available equipment of course....i personally love this bench for abs, all the way declined, w/feet secured...let's u choose how far u want to go down. if u are in decent enough shape to do a sit up, u should be pleased. my husband on the other hand, does not like it for abs, uses it for bench presses instead....he doesn't like that he felt he was using his back too much, but i think his core strength was not where he thought it was, and it made it too strenuous on his lower back.... i enjoy it though, feels like i'm working out front and back lol

The foam padded rollers securely hold my feet so I don't feel like I might fall off or lose my balance. I weigh 160lbs. but there is a weight limit of 300 lbs. for this bench. Hope that helps.
