Whenever I open a new box, I throw the box away and keep the bags inside my garbage can, so I don't have the box to give you the actual mil thickness. I can affirm that Glad makes the strongest mil plastic garbage bags if you use the 13 gal. 80 count box with flaps of all of the brands available because I have checked on this before. I have used these garbage bags for many years and never had a problem with them at all.

Glad only makes one cheaper version that is not as thick, and it is sold on a roll, not in a box. You really get what you pay for in garbage bags, so a thicker mil is the best choice always.

If you purchase Glad garbage bags with flaps in 13 gal. of 80 count or 4 gal. of 30 count sizes, they should work for all cans inside your home. They do not leak or tear easily. I highly recommend these.

Someone mentioned the mil... standard .69 mil thickness. If that's the standard then most other brands need to get out the caliber. These trash bag by glad are thicker then most 13 gallon trash bags I've ever used. Been using this brand and style for many years. Anytime I had to switch, because of being out of stock I couldnt wait until they were used up and I could get back to using these again. I hate the string bags too. Then you have the brands that are not a true 13 gallon and/or are too thin. These are the best in 35 years I have been buying bags. Wherever the exact mil they are thicker then most.

I've tried most of the brands and I return to this one. standard .69 mil thickness but I love the 4 tie flaps to double tie the top before lifting out of a container. I preline my trash cans with several bags and if I have a messy-wet- food load that might leak or create a super mess- I DOUBLE bag right on the spot. for normal waste-- plastic -paper - dry items- these have never failed me- good stretch with no tears in normal use. my 'disposal technician'-trash man- smiles too! he loves quality bags as much as I do!

GLAD 13 gallon trash bags

I really like these trash bags. They fit in my trashcan well and stay up in place when I throw trash away. They hold a lot and do not burst if I overstuff them. These are only ones I like to use.

Good trash bags that stay in place

Those pull string bags are all I can find. There's nothing wrong with them. They just hurt my fingers. when I have to take them out. I kept winter gloves next to the door. These are very sturdy, and I can tie them any way I want. They are an improvement for me.

Love these bags!

This is absolutely the only trash bag I'll use. Believe me, I've been through all the WONDER BAGS with the drawstrings or the elastic, etc. I've never had a box of drawstring bags where all the bags drawstrings actually worked. Usually none of them work. I'd wind up having to rig the string to tie up someway or use a twisty tie. With these you just pull up the sides and tie and it's done, snug and ready for the big trash can. I use a lot of trash bags and I won't use anything else but these.

Only bag I'll use.

These bags can hol ao much!  They are tied with a double square knot using the large flaps & there are no worries of the cheaper strap ties (like with other styles of bag) popping out of place.

Great kitchen bags!

Glad is not the absolute cheapest but you can usually find a good price and it is worth every cent. After you've experienced a few "bargain" brand bags tearing open and spilling garbage all over your kitchen, living room, or driveway, you realize- the savings just is not worth it.

Never buy bargain brand trash bags!

The best kitchen trash bags, hands down! Thes bags are the sturdiest, most durable, dependable bags on the market. They virtually NEVER leak. I love the flap tie, and hate the drawstring bags, which is why I've been buying these for years. But, as WalMart is wont to do, they discontinue those products, and replace them with the inferior types. BRING THEM BACK!!!

Glad kitchen flap tie bags, irreplaceable!

This is your standard kitchen-size trash bag. Need one a day in our house, can't stand waiting to take the onions and other smelly garbage out, so this is really a good buy. Will last a good while.

Terrific Bargain At This Size & Price!

I honestly like the bag with the strings around it. Everytime i put a bag in the trash can if it gets i little full the bags falls in the trash and most of my garbage falls on the bottome of the trash can.

Not a fan

I have been buying 13 gallon Glad HANDLE TIE bags for many years. They were fabulous. 
I accidentally ordered 5 boxes of these bags and something was wrong, because the bags appeared fake.

When I opened the box, I was shocked when a sickening chemical perfume odor filled my kitchen. The bags I was using did not have the sickening odor of Febreeze and the box did not say "scented,"

The boxes had plastic tape around them and labels pasted on the box and bar code.
The bags were half the thickness and had tabs and not handles.
Something is wrong here. These are some kind of counterfeit scam.
I returned them and tried without success to call the Glad Customer service
