It depends on the size of the baby. If the baby tends to be on the larger size, they may be a little too small. Otherwise, they should be fine.

are these cotton receiving blankets or fleece blankets?

If you are still trying to swaddle them no but they are great blankets. My child is 10 months now and I still use them for many things. He is learning to fed himself now so I also use them for a palate he can sit on and a giant bib so he can be messy.

Nice receiving blankets!

FTM, ordered these online for my baby which will arrive soon. Blankets are perfect-beautiful colors&patterns, super soft material and easy to fold. Arrived within five days. Bought another pack-green version, loved these too. Will buy more if needed! And will buy this set for my pregnant friends as a gift!

Wonderful set of recieving blankets!

These are pretty nice for the price of about $1.16 for each blanket. There is 4 small receiving blankets in the pack. They are designed exactly as the image displays, teddy bears, basketballs, plaid, and colorful dots. Keep in mind, they are small since they are receiving blankets and they are not plush. I actually purchased these for my small 5 pound maltese during the summer weather when plushy thick blankets are generally not needed. Plus, it's small enough and light weight enough that he can easily drag it around as his little heart desires.

I have been buying these receiving blankets for a charity called Bridge To Life.  They love them and the price is right.

I thought I was getting a blanket but it's more like a big bib. I will sew all 4 together to make a changing pad with them. I also may take them and just make big bibs out of them. Other than that the quality of the product is good. I just had no idea how small a receiving blanket is.
