I can honestly say this player was smooth on all my DVDs and CDs. Thankful because my last product was broken when I bought it and it kept messing with my DVDs. It also came with proper cords to hook it up which is a bonus.

My daughter broke her DVD player, and like all children had to have another one right away. It's cheap, it plays well and if she breaks this one it's 30 bucks, what's not to love?

Great for the kid!

This was purchased for kids who are "like my grandchildren". The TV they use when they visit me had a DVD within it, but skipped. They asked me if they could get a new DVD. that this one skipped. For Christmas, I purchased this DVD for them so when they visit they can watch their movies. Finally, got it hooked up - works great. The kids will like the remote!

Kids will enjoy it, perfect for what they need.

I am elderly and wanted a simple DVD player, this meets my needs and it was easy to set up.

The Funai DVD Player is ok. Its doesn't take up a lot of space, and it is worth the amount of money suggested for it.

Movies pausing and skipping. Tried many different movies and all them did the same thing. Would not recommend this item.

Doesn't Work Well

Normal play back looked fine. Fast forward, which I use frequently, exhibited an odd effect - instead of moving smoothly forward by skipping a constant number of frames, it cyclically jumped a significantly different number number of frames introducing a very annoying "jumpiness"..

Fast forward frame rate is annoying or defective
