Just installed my new air conditioner so far so good. I stood in front of it just for a minute to fix my curtains and it froze me out. I hope it continues to blow cold air in the upcoming summer. It's very pretty too

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had several window unit air conditioners in the 19 years of owning this home, but the Frigidaire FFRE123WA1 12,000BTU unit I recently purchased is by far the quietest.  I was fortunate to find the unit on sale just as the weather was warming up.  The cooling capacity is unparalleled, as one would expect from Frigidaire, but it was the quietness of the unit that really impressed me.  Yes, the unit has all of the bells and whistles, like an Energy-Star rating, washable filter, three fan speeds, ECO mode, remote control, and programmable timer, but I wasn't expecting to be able to watch TV in the same room while it was on.  Thank you Frigidaire for giving me my living room back.

Remote control option is a definite plus. Cheaper than brands with similar features and with a better reputation. It can be a bit noisy with the fan setting on high but the effectiveness and quick-cool down capabilities make this a minor issue. Thumbs up all the way!

Wise Choice!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My central heating & air unit went out and I needed a temporary solution to cool my home. It is a small 1200 sq. ft. ranch. It is being used for most of the house as I close off two bedrooms during the day. So far it has been doing well. 
 It has a small dent on the back top left side from shipping that does not efect preformance.

12,000 BTU Window Unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a great appliance. It keeps my apartment cool and is pretty easy to install. The only drawback about it is it is very loud. When watching tv, I do have to use the pause button on my shows when needing to cool off the room otherwise I would have given 5 stars to my rating.
