Frankford Arsenal's Case Prep and Trim Station accurately trims brass in seconds. An innovative case holder with adjustable collet and bushing system indexes the case shoulder and can be set to precisely trim brass to the exact desired case length. Once the case holder is adjusted simply insert brass into the case holder as a collet aligns the case squarely with the hi-speed cutter. As the case mouth contacts the cutter it is trimmed until the case shoulder stops on an internal bushing. A series of three collets and six bushings (all included) accommodate any shouldered case from .17 Remington to .460 weatherby. In addition to the cutter, the station operates up to three additional tools at the same time. Inside and outside chamfer tools and primer pocket cleaners are included to fully prepare cases for loading. The heavy duty motor and drivetrain are optimized for durability and performance. Cutters and Chamfer tools are constructed of high quality hardened steel.

Case prep is so much easier and faster.  Once you get the hang of adjusting the trim depth it's a snap to setup.  Hint I got from someone.  Once you get the trim length set sacrifice a trimmed case as a template.  Next time you need to trim setup using that case and you're done.

I was having a little issue with setting up the case length for trimming but eventually figured it out. I love the fact I can trim, chamfer, debut, and clean the primer pocket all with one piece of equipment. I am extremely happy with the product and highly recommend it to reloaders.

Great feature

I had only used manual trimmers before purchasing this product. I read many reviews and ordered with confidence. Easy to set up and I am getting very consistent results. Very pleased.

Very pleased

I've prepped a few thousand cases now with this unit. I always found case prep to be the least enjoyable portion of reloading, but this machine makes it quick and easy. The trimming function is particularly useful. It takes about a minute to set up, and makes repeatable consistent trims. Once I get in a rhythm I can have 100 rifle cases trimmed, chamfered, and pockets cleaned in about 5-10 relaxed minutes. I put on a set of flex-fit type work gloves for better grip and have no issues with 300 Blackout cases. I recently lost one of the case shoulder indexing bushings. I called Frankford Arsenal and asked to buy just that part, but they told me not to worry about it, they sent me a complete parts replacement kit free of charge. Excellent customer service! I have seen some reviews complaining about the quality of the chamfer and cutting heads themselves. They are not carbide, but have seemed to do the job just fine for me so far. I plan to buy carbide replacements when mine start to dull, but it hasn't happened yet. For what this kit costs, it is an excellent value, even with the less expensive attachments.

Great case prep solution, Excellent company

Fast and easy to trim multiple calibers. Just watch manfacture you have to adhust cut for some case manufactures to not over under trim. I cut in batches abd it cab loosen up with alot of cutting so make sure you lock it down and retighten as needed. But i cut in batches of 100 now because of this tool.

Fast easy but

I purchased the Platinum Case prep unit from Midway last year. WOW what a game changer this thing is. Once it's set up you're off to the races. I load between 3-500 .308 rounds a month. Case prep was a nightmare. Not anymore. The trim and case prep center is awesome, it takes about 5 seconds a case. It makes brass prep a joy now. Insert the case into the previously set up collet, its trimmed in under a second. Pull it, flip it over just touch it to the chamfer and deburring tools and you're done. Easy to set up, easy to use. Best addition to my reloading set up yet.

A true time saver !

I decided to purchase one of these for myself after borrowing & using one of these from a buddy that had brought one.
The Prep Center tool is well made and easy to use after you go through the process of setting up the trim length your case requires. I found a YouTube video that showed the process. After watching it the setup was fairly straight forward.
So far have trimmed 900+ .204 Ruger cases. Glad I have this instead of trimming cases the old slow way.
Well worth the investment!

Must Have Tool

After reading many reviews about wobbly tool heads and other negative things, I was leery about purchasing this. I ended up doing so anyways since I have about 35 gallons of 223 brass to process.... Brass prep will never be the same. I absolutely love this! I probably would not use this for PRS reloading but I tested cases cut with the frankford trim and prep center and cases that were hand trimmed prepared.... no notable difference even though there is slight tool head wobble. I will be using this for all my 223 and 22-250 from now on.

Very good prep center

Once set up correctly this works Great cuts well keeps zero within a couple thousands almost every time. Trims campers primer cleaning. Nice strong metal case strong tolling gone through 800 rounds and cannot see much wear yet.. IT would just be nice to swap heads for trimming other calibers and not messing with my zero. Once I have money to get one head per caliber.

Why would you sell a product like the Platnum case trimmer when replacement parts are not available? I have looked all over including your sight but collets and case holder parts are no where to be found
