Set Enterprises Five Crowns is a fun way to pass the time at parties or family game night. It puts a new spin on traditional rummy by adding a new suit, stars, to the deck. Up to seven people can play at once, and there are even solitaire rules for playing by yourself. This game is also available in a Five Crowns junior card game version that's designed to appeal to kids. You play it in rounds, and in each round the designated wild card changes, meaning that you have to stay alert for the right time to play each card.

The cards have a slight coating on them, but they are no more durable than a set of playing cards. If players are hard on them , they will bend.

The cards pictured are not the cards you will receive. Durable but a cheap imitation of the original that is pictured.

Don&#39;t think they are coated with plastic. Not in NZ.

No, they are not plastic coated. Something spilled on them and many stuck together.  Had to buy a new deck. If one gets destroyed, the company will replace it free of charge.  I had too many damaged to be replaced so I never contacted them.

They do have a coating on them.  We bought our first set for our daughter 2 years ago.  It gets played regularly.  We just purchased additional sets to replace and for gifts.

These cards are not plastic coated , so I&#39;m sending for new ones a lot .Wish the company would get the hint. Love the game!

No, they are not. But there is plenty of contrast in the colors, so it&#39;s not a problem.

I gave this as a gift because it is a great game for just two people or a larger group, up to 7 or 8 people, it good for a group of mixed ages, it takes time to play a game but is not a real competitive game but one where you can talk and joke about how the game is going.  It is a fun game not a serious one but luck and some skill are needed to win.

Really fun family game.  You start with 3 cards but at the end you will be holding 13 cards which might challenge small children.  Our whole family enjoys the game.

As the description says, Five Crowns is a rummy type of card game. It is similar to gin rummy, except after a player goes out, each remaining player gets to play one more time before the end of the round. During each round, the wild card is different and one more card is dealt to each player in each progressive round.

Fun game!

This is a great fun card game. My family enjoys playing cards when we get together. Hands down this is our favorite go to now, so much so I am buying a second deck.

GREAT card game for FAMILY TIME

As a Walmart employee I saved money  on Five Crowns by ordering it online.  We played it with our son's family and we all enjoyed it.  I would purchase it again!

Fun game. Box could be sturdier

This card game is for everyone. We have a big family, And sometimes we have to use two decks, but everyone can play for the 10 year old all the way up. It is a lot of laughs %26 being together.

Five Crowns Card Game

I was introduced to this card game recently and I love it then i found it on walmart's website so I ordered it

We play almost daily. It takes us 1 1/2 hours to play a full game. If we don't have that much time ,we skip 3-4-5- and start with 6.  Sometimes we don't shuffle between every hand if someone goes out right away.  We do not shuffle between 3-4-5-.  Only 2 people can play in 45 minutes. Everyone is responsible for keeping their own score when a person goes out which speeds up the game.  We have up to 6 players.  Lots'o fun.
