I have this swing and it runs silent. You probably either have a defective swing or something isn't put together right..

My first swing made the same noise, I hated it. I returned it and ordered another one and now the second one is make a squeaking noise like it needs WD40. I have not decided if I am going to purchase this swing again, I am irritated with the quality, but I must have a swing.

Mine was making that very loud clicking noise after i moved it. I realized it was the ring that holds the canopy on that was barely out of place hitting on the mobile that was causing the noise. Don't know if it could be the same thing on yours but may want to check.

Mine is doing the same thing and has been doing since I got it! Have you firgured out how to fix it? I wonder if we can contact fisher price and see if they can replace it. I have had mine for 6 months.

This has happened with ours also. I noticed if the mobile gets stuck on the canopy, it will make the clicking sound. See if something is keeping the mobile from spinning around. Also, the motor is really loud. I have not found a solution to this problem.

I've heard the sound you're referring to. It happened when my daughter learned the power of holding on to the butterflies. the ring the butterflies are on is stuck somewhere/somehow. Take that part back apart and find what is stopping it from turning (maybe something on the track?)
