I bought one similar to this, but my grandson likes this one better. He's the more active of the two. He loves this, and is just starting to reach for things. His sister is more laid back, and is happy with the simpler one. It;s easy to set up. I would purchase again for a baby.

My baby plays for about an hour and falls asleep on it. I am very happy with my  purchase. She is 3 months and reaching for the toys.

I bought this for my two month old and she really likes it. I can lay her down while I get a few things done. Her hands fling all around but she does try to grab the toys which is helping her control her arms and hands better. The colors are bright and its very cute. The mat is thin but I fold a blanket up and place it under the mat to make it softer. The little fox toy plays music. There are quite a few songs on it and you can choose to play one song or continuous and it easily comes off so you can bring it along wherever you go. I am really glad we bought this for our little one. She loves it and my older kids enjoy sitting with her while she is playing so it turned out to entertain more than just my baby! I would recommend this to anyone looking for some sort of activity for their little baby. Anything to entertain them even for 5-10 minutes can help out so much sometimes. I got this for $20 and it was well worth it for us.

2 month old loves it!

My daughter had asked me to purchase an activity mat for my one month old granddaughter. I looked at several different brands and read reviews. This has definitely kept my granddaughter happy and smiling! It doesn't fall over like some of the other brands I read about. I would definitely recommend this.

Keeps my granddaughter busy!

This is the best baby gym we've tried! We've used the large expensive gyms and our children had no interest in them. This baby gym is fantastic because babies can reach the toys and really interact. The music on the fox lasts 10 minutes at a time and the toys are engaging.

just what i needed

My 3 month old daughter and I loved the colors, attachments, and especially the hanging mirror.  The only draw back is that the musical take along toy didn't work after we installed new AA batteries in it.  I went to the store to return it but there was not even a similar mat to be found on the shelves. I am quite upset that I wasn't able to get a new one because out of all the mats we have tried my daughter actually would use this one.  I'm sure it was just an off chance our toy didn't work so I would definitely recommend this toy to everyone.

Love it but...

Bought as a Christmas present for baby - loved the overall appeal, but there is no pillow and the blanket part is a little thin.....this being said, I would still recommend it as these things can be fixed.

Loved the variety of objects hanging

It's not possible to set this up one handed, so I always end up using my hand and a foot while holding the baby with the other hand. It tips over easily, so once baby starts squirming and moving, it will probably fall on him. He loves it, but I like the other (wider) style gyms much better

Buy a different gym instead

We got this mat as a gift and my daughter absolutely loves it. However, she just recently started kicking her feet and rolling over and we noticed a critical flaw with this mat: when she kicks the arch, it folds over on her. I was glad I watched her do this because she could have suffocated (the mat folded in half and made a baby sandwich). The mat is fun, but it is flimsy and definitely easy to knock over, especially if baby has moved from being perfectly lined up on it. I don't recommend it once your baby starts wiggling around. It's best for babies 1-3month, max.

Great until they move around

apparently one of them was a return item because the screw won't come out of the fox for the batteries to be put in. very disappointing
