I think these is one excellent set of everything you need for the basics of cooking, I did however find that the bread knife doesn't cut bread that easily (the ridges aren't very pronounced, leading it to slip instead of cut) but other than that? Amazing and I genuinely recommend these to you, they're a good buy, especially if you're just starting out like I am, these guys are a real life saver in the kitchen, before these I was working with a dull kitchen knife that could hardly even cut butter, so big upgrade there lol. but all in all, I may lack some experience but i think these are an amazing and affordable option for you to consider

The knife set was purchased for my nephew, he likes them very much. He's not quite sure what the tiny scissors are for but likes the set which includes so much.

Complete knife set

These are a second set that I love for everyday quick use. The biggest pro is they are dishwasher safe and I don't have to hand wash them, especially as often as I use them. The block set is also very clean and modern looking on my counter, which is a nice compliment with my decor.

Great Second Set for Everyday Use

Do not purchase this item. We bought it at Walmart on 7/29/20 and less than 1 year later it fell apart. And we hardly even used it. It was an awful knife set to begin with and since day one so dull I just didn’t like how bad they were. And now look at his totally fell apart.

stainless steel cutlery

Knives are not very sharp. I used the paring knife to hull strawberries and it was having difficulty cutting through a strawberry. I gave the the larger one a shot to cut and peel potatoes. Nightmare the amount of pressure you need to use to cut with them I could see leading to an injury. I was so excited to ditch my 10 year old set I threw the box right away. Wish I had not so I could return these.

the blade is serrated on every knife this means you drag whatever you try to cut onions are a nightmare with this set you will not get an even cut and this is fresh out the box my wife instantly cut her finger because the knife jumps as you cut not only do they work poorly as knives but they are dangerous get another set

I know, you get what you pay for.. I have had this set for 6 months and 2 knives have broken. most of the knives have a horrible edge that doesn't cut for crap! save your $20 and put it towards a good set!
