This is a very different style charger, which works just as explained in the instructions. I had no idea how to use it, but the instructions that come with the product really explain every detail. I'm not a big car know-how. However, this wasn't very hard to understand how to use it to charge up my vehicle.

Everything is included and explained in the perfect amount of detail. I feel very well appreciative to have a battery charger, that is not too huge or takes a lot of knowledge to use. It's very simple and easy to use. I am so happy to have decided to use this for my older vehicle, it had a few stalls and issues with the battery. So, this is a savior when I need it and that may be often.

Small but POWERFUL!!

My hubby says this is an amazing little battery jump starter. Its powerful enough to charge a car battery. And found it easier to charge battery on my little ones pink suv ride in toy faster than before. LED charging status indicators show when the unit is completed charging. Built-in circuit protection guards against overvoltage or short circuit. This is a great addition to my husbands gadgets and tools in his garage.

Everstart Maxx 3 Amp Jump Starter

This product is so convenient. I have used it on my lawn mower, four wheeler and to keep a charge on a car we are remodeling. This EverStart battery charger is a great size for a small charger. The instructions are easy to read. The black and red plugs make it easy and obvious were to hook up on battery. My 7 year old hooked up and charged his own four wheeler by himself.

Good quality

I received the EverStart MAXX 3 Amp 6V/12V Automotive Battery Charger and my husband absolutely loves having this new gadget in his garage. He works on cars as a hobby and loved to restore older model vehicles. This tool has helped keep the cars batteries charged. It really helps on colder mornings. Great to have and super easy to use. The lights tell you when it's correctly hooked up.

Handy gadget

I think the EverStart MAXX 3 Amp 6/12V Automotive Battery Charger (BC3E) is a good addition to any garage. Car’s batteries are good until one day. This charger came very handy not long after I acquired it. One night I used my car lights while having an emergency electric repair done. Right after I got my electricity back at home, I realized the car’s battery was too drained to start the car. I used my new EverStart MAXX recharge overnight and it worked like a charm. If a vehicle is sitting for long periods of time it will be also good to maintain the battery. You just need to be aware that battery chargers take a while to charge and the manual mentions to charge above freezing temperature and below 40 degrees celsius and never operate it in a closed-in area (not in a closed garage). This for sure creates some restrictions for cold or very hot areas, plus you need to watch the weather as it can not be used in the rain of course.

Lifesaver

I received my EverStart Maxx 3 Amp charger and am very pleased with it and highly recommend it for anyone searching for a quick and easy charger. I wouldn't recommend it for an auto because it has the smaller charger ends and will overheat if the charge is too great. Instructions are well thought out and easy to understand. Charged my 12 V lawnmower in about 2.5 hours so no complaints! Definitely recommend!

EverStart Maxx 3 Amp charger

This is a pretty good and practical charger/maintainer. I have a NOCO Genius 1 trickle charger and maintainer. Relative to my NOCO, the EverStart MAXX 3 Amp charger has its pros and cons. The biggest advantage is the extra amperage. When I use my NOCO to charge batteries, it is typically an overnight event. The battery will be charged to full after about 15 hours or so at 1 amp. So with the EverStart, it can be done in 5 hours apparently. That turns an overnight wait to half a day's work. That is a pretty significant improvement. 5 or 6 amp would be even better, but they cost more. The con is that this unit does not care about the chemistry of the battery. The NOCO can, if its claim is true, charge normal lead acid batteries, as well as AGM and Lithium ones differently. This unit does not. But given most people's batteries are the normal ones, this probably is not a big deal. Finally, the charger is very pleasant to the eyes. Great product design.

A very useful and practical charger

This is quite handy and easy to use device. It's to charge low batteries not to jump start dead car battery. With 3v it could still take hours to charge drained battery but great at maintaining them at home. It is simple to use but lack the adjustment for AGM batteries, giving me less confidence on using it.

Good device but lacks info on AGM battery.

We are happy to have this new addition in our garage. This handy battery charger is made by Everstart and it is lightweight and portable and can charge many different batteries that are 6V or even 12V with a flip of a switch. there are LED control indicators, as well as an overvoltage protection, where it turns off when it is done charging. I'm definitely happy with this charger and knowing that if my battery dies, I can have a jumpstart without having to call a roadside service. I definitely would recommend.

Compact and portable!

I tried to us this item on my lawnmower battery. It started out fine, & then completely quit working (doesn't even light up now). before finishing the task. Now using an older charger to finish the job.

I had high hopes / expectations but this item quit
